Had a pleasant stay at this hotel, it was very beautiful and close to a lot of food places. Very quiet and Wonderful staff

Only two pillows supplied for two guests in a king size bed Showerhead, impossible, high-pressure, like needles and pins against your skin with no way to adjust the pressure Mold growing around the bathtub shower stall No water, no water cups no coffee cups They called this hotel "boutique" it does not resemble what I would consider to be a boutique property. It's more of a repainted motel six.

    The staff was extremely accommodating

Nice place to stay at for a couple of nights.

Mold in the ceiling of the bathroom is something I’ve never seen before in any hotel I stayed at. They need to fix it asap.

My primary reason for staying was a business trip to Los Angeles, and I was hoping for a restful night's sleep. Unfortunately, the walls and floors appeared to have very little sound insulation. Guests in the room above me were noticeably loud after checking in and continued making noise throughout the night. I could hear footsteps, conversations, and furniture being moved, which made it difficult to sleep. Overall, the hotel served its basic purpose, but the unexpected fees and lack of soundproofing made for a disappointing experience. As a result, I would not choose to stay here again.

This is a lovely hotel. The staff were very helpful. I will return again.

This was a good place, a great cheaper option in a really expensive area. The staff was kind and helpful. They've done a creative job of revamping an older property. It was a good stay.

We had a broken AC unit during an LA heatwave for 2 nights. It was HOT and Stuffy and humid, we couldnt sleep for 2 nights. When we got new rooms on the third night, one room smelled musty. Saw water damage near the shower in one room. You had to pay extra for parking each day and the parking spots were really tight. The place was just OK due to all of these things. If the AC had not been broken, our stay would've been so much better

This place is perfectly fine. It’s an old sketchy motel with a cheap renovation and some modern decor slapped on top. But checking in even late at night the guy was surprisingly friendly and helpful. Even as a single female, I felt perfectly safe all night. It’s definitely not a classy or romantic vibe, but if you just need an affordable hotel room it certainly does the job just fine.

Extremely clean, quiet and great location for UCLA. The photos show a bar in the lobby. It's not. No coffee available and laughable teeny-tiny bars of soap (size of my thumb). Definitely a "how little can we get by with" approach to extras like tissues.

Helpful staff. Most rooms have no outside window, only a window on the interior courtyard which affords no privacy. Most rooms are on the second story up a steep flight of stairs with no elevator - a deal breaker for elderly visitors with heavy luggage. On a multiple day visit the room was never made up until after 4 pm. The hotel is built around an atrium with comfortable seating; however for much of the day the atrium is filled with linens to be used in fixing up the rooms - not a particularly attractive area to settle or relax.

Horrible - dirty, toilet wasn’t functioning properly, face plates for outlets were missiing with holes in it he wall, and the door trim/frame was literally popped out from the wall. Not a safe place. Very disappointing given the prior reviews. We spent less than 45 minutes in the room. Just enough time to make a reservation for another hotel in Westwood and to get an Uber to get us to the new hotel.

Your basic motel, with a bit of renovation

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

So easy, clean and employees knowing what a traveller needs when their arriving before they arrive, as well as making it stress-less on checkout. The area feels safe and easy access to public transport, uber and waymo

I really loved the receptionist! We talked and got to know each other and she was really concerned for my safety well me and my wife’s safety actually because we are both females and she told me how dangerous it could get in downtown LA! So it was refreshing to have someone who just didn’t want my business but to also remain safe !

Property is pretty run down, feels very dark. Weird location. Little to zero bathroom amenities. But beds were comfortable. Fine for a short stay.
