Awesome thanks for having me!

Very good experience, but the rooms have a central management system, and therefore you could not control the temperature in the room. Overall, very good location and amenities, but very cold rooms

I was a repeat guest, traveling with my sister. We asked for an upper floor room but was given the room on the first level first room from the entrance facing Melrose which was super noisy and did not feel safe on this busy street. The person at the reception desk did not seem to have concern and he said sorry we assigned these rooms as available, which I interpreted it as “ you booked on a 3rd party app so you are stuck with whatever we give you.” Also the fan was not working and it was 80+ degrees. Our first experience was what brought us back but not inclined to return.

Location was superb.

Every staff member interaction was extremely helpful, courteous and professional. The room decor and cleanliness were exceptional. Although the street noise was somewhat bothersome, it was minimal and I would be happy to stay at the property again without hesitation.

While delays can happen, customer service should not. After waiting well over an hour, we asked for an update and were told, "I just got here. I don't know what to tell you, it's just not ready. I guess they were busy today." That response summed up the experience perfectly. No apology, no ownership, no effort to make things right. Just a shrug. If your room isn't going to be ready on time, that's frustrating. If the staff treats that frustration as if it's your problem, that's a much bigger issue.

They only clean your room if you asked them to the day before, which they did not tell me anything about when I booked, nor checked in to the hotel.

One of my go-to hotels near the Grove, Hollywood, and downtown LA. This boutique spot is unique, with comfortable rooms and an excellent restaurant on site. Walkable to loads of food options.
-
Stylish, clean, nice staff Food and coffee at the cafe downstairs could be better
-
Room was nice but the AC did not work and our room was hot especially during the day.
-
The rooms were nice Room cleaning didn’t come by and they only give one hotel key per room. Hotel also charged more then what was advertised on booking.com

Good location. Simple/small but cute rooms.

A friend and I just completed a 3 night, 4 day stay at the Palihotel Melrose. I loved the location as a lot of the places I set out to visit were in walking distance which was perfect to recharge in between events. Check in was easy and the concierge has an option to hold your bags before check in if needed. The hotel is fairly small which is the norm for a boutique hotel but I was impressed that the noise level was pretty tame, even with our window staying open most nights. We chose the smaller version of the King size bed rooms, the other option provided a larger square footage and a balcony that we didn't deem necessary for out stay. This hotel ONLY has king size beds, no doubles - keep that in mind. It didn't impact our stay, the bed was comfy and the room was clean but the option for doubles would have been nice too. I wished that there was a closet for storage. Also, the TV has a feature to cast from your phone but it doesn't actually work. If I would have known that I would have brought my laptop or Firestick. We dined at the hotel restaurant once for breakfast and it was great and the prices weren't bad. We did have to request room service and one night our keys didn't work but they were quickly replaced. Overall my stay was 7/10.

Palihotel was a cute boutique with charm for days. However, it missed basic amenities like a place inside the hotel to buy water, toothbrush, tampons. I had to walk down to the 7-11 at night, which was 1/2 a mile away. They do include 2 water bottles and snacks in the room but at a high cost like most hotels.

Nice property with charming front desk staff. Restaurant has great breakfast options and tasty food. Bathrooms are retro style and have excellent water pressure. Air conditioning was uneven - no room control. One day it was not working well, but the staff resolved the issue quickly. If you’re expecting a well designed hotel in a pretty perfect location, you’ll be happy here!

Staff friendly, good restaurant and service, good music in reception, interesting Bohemian decor. There was no way to control the temperature of my room as the hotel sets the temperature for all rooms. Disappointing that the excellent restaurant was closed for dinner. Overpriced.
