I loved the location, the super friendly and helpful staff and the free bikes!! Staying at mahasok made my trip to Luang Prabang even more amazing ? The rooms facing the road are quite noisy! And the shower could be stronger and more stable, but it was good!

Room and bathroom were much more dated than in the photos. Air conditioning was weak. Clean enough for the price but not our favorite spot.

Greta location within a 10-15 walk from city center and night market. 24 hour pool, free bikes and umbrellas, awesome breakfast and super helpful staff. All was good!

The bedsheet is pilling, so it's not super comfortable. there is also a cockroach in the bathroom

The good thing about the hotel is the pool. But you can use just the pool for 50k, it's safer than staying there overnight. I'm very sad to give this review, but I can't give a good review to a hotel that condones men who beat women. Me and my family (with a kid and a baby!!) were sleeping in our room and at 3am we were woken by a loud bang and then the sounds of a fight between a man and a woman. The woman screamed that the man had hit her and almost killed her. The hotel boy intervened and the argument ended, but they didn't call the police and they even allowed the man to stay in another room and only charged him $7 for that room (I was in the hotel lobby and heard them charge him for the room the next day). When I went to talk to reception about what had happened the night before and when I said that I would not stay at that hotel if that man did not leave, they told me that he would stay there because his stay had not yet ended and they said that if I wanted to leave "it's up to you" and when I said that I was leaving, they immediately said "11:30", the checkout time. It was 10:30. They didn't even apologize, nothing!! And when the attacker appeared at reception, they asked him if he was okay, they said that the girl had already left and that if he wanted he could go back to his room. And they even took his bag to the room!!! The girl also spoke Laotian because when the hotel boy intervened, she spoke Laotian and then English with the man who hit her, so she may have been an escort. This also does not speak well of the type of tourists that this hotel receives and treats with great care and attention. Regrettable. I left feeling very sad and upset, it ruined my mood for the day and for my trip to Luang Prabang. That and the absurd price that the tuktuks that stopped in front of the hotel asked us to pay for a 3-minute trip.

The hotel was super clean. The staff was very helpful, polite, reliable, professional, and friendly. The location was good, not far away from the daily market. The room was big. The swimming pool was clean. I felt like home staying there. The atmosphere was very welcome with the service mind of the staff. The hotel is definitely recommended.

Very quiet resort near the historical center. You will wake seeing big palm trees and hearing all birds from the countryside. But the most impressive is the people there. Allways in great mood for helping you with everything.

A very clean comfortable hotel with great service, very efficient aircon and excellent pool! Can highly recommend this hotel, ask for a quiet room at the back overlooking the lilly pond! Perfect!

Charming oasis. The room I stayed in was clean & comfortable, ground floor by the pool. The only window to outside was facing a concrete wall so it was quite dark like a cave compared to other accommodations I stayed in the previous wk in Laos, however it was quite endearing. Room was a bit dated but the bed was large. Aircon worked great. Mini fridge & tea kettle. Hot water on demand & water pressure, perfect. Buffet breakfast was plentiful & filling. Free water refills. The ambiance of the hotel was very relaxing. Pool was nice. Location was great. They are able to arrange onward transport & the staff are all very helpful.

Lovely room, central location and very flexible staff. We had to make last minute changes to our booking and the staff were very accommodating. The breakfast was also lovely and the hotel grounds are stunning. Very close to the amazing night market.

The room is a great size, the pool was wonderful, it is a 10 min walk from the UNESCO world heritage site. Breakfast is great. Bikes are available to borrow. There are drinks available to purchase at reception. All round, really recommend it. Also there's a nice sandwich place across the street, and a fruit stall at the end of the street.

The hotel is easy to find, airy, clean, large and beautiful rooms. Staff are very friendly and enthusiastic. Breakfast is varied, in short everything is great, I will come back next time.

Very comfortable and quiet hotel with a good included breakfast. Nice pool area with some drinks available from reception. Staff friendly helpful. We extended our stay here and recommend for this price range
