Room was really nice. It was big, clean, and well cared for.

it's a good place to base yourself out-of-town NYC but still well-positioned to get into the city, especially with a bus stop going straight to the Port Authority Terminal. The rooms are good - large and well presented. The staff are great! Major building work was underway in the Reception area - which was noisy and reduced the available facilities e.g. the Bistro considerably. We were informed that there would be work underway - but only the day before our arrival - presumably just so as we could not say we hadn't been informed, but after the cut-off date for us not cancelling. On the first evening we were charged $25 for 2 v small beers - no glasses, nowhere to sit inside, only one staff member, with no idea as to how we could even pay. We resolved to not buy any more drinks, breakfasts, thereafter - so the hotel did miss out on a lot of potential revenue from us, as a result...

The staff was fantastic and helped us navigate the NJ transit system. The stop into the city was right at the property line and super convenient. Our room was brand new and beautiful. It was super comfortable. My young son had some tummy issues and clogged the toilet. I called down and someone was at our room within minutes and was able to unclog it quickly. Super professional and kind about dealing with a clogged toilet. Parking was free and they have a restaurant (we didn’t use). There’s a diner(Colonial diner) up the road that a front desk agent mentioned people like and we tried it and ended up eating there 2 times. We stayed 3 night. We would absolutely stay here again.

Hotels.com should inform those booking through their app/site that this hotel is undergoing a massive renovation. The room was newly renovated and very clean. The bed was comfortable. However, the air conditioner in the room was noisy (it made an irritating whistling sound) there was no convenience items for sale, and the restaurant was closed for sit-down service. We were told we could order food "to go" for breakfast. I do not believe any other amenities were available. (pool, gym)

Our room was brand new and very nice. But the toilet was not working, had maintenance come to repair twice. Had to use the lobby restrooms for our stay. The hotel is under construction and the lobby and elevators are a mess and only one was working. The construction trucks, woke us up at 5am.

The rooms were very clean. I just wish they had a microwave.

Near NY city, very quiet area.

Parking was a mess, they have a small area for about 30 cars with 6 floors of rooms, the other parking lot was blocked off to construction, and the one elevator was blocked off, having 6 floors of rooms funnel into one elevator for mornings when your trying to leave. staff was amazing, i remembering checking in later after dinner hours and the host stand staff was very attentive and very helpful, and after coming back downstairs bc the keycards didn't work for the room at first they quickly responded and resolved the issue, other than hearing loud noises while coming in to the hotel, and having to use the bar/dining entrance for my stay the hotel was nice, rooms were smaller than other hotels in the area and the room layout was a little weird to get used to however it's just a room

We stay here regularly and really love this hotel. It is especially nice to be remembered on our return. The staff are always so friendly and helpful. With Crystal at breakfast and at the bar it was like meeting an old friend. And Ingrid at breakfast and Nayeli on the front desk were also great. The newly-refurbished bedrooms were extremely stylish. And the restaurant had no problem with my dietary requirements. Easy access to New York. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Construction so it was loud and dirty in some areas. They let me do early checking when I called them but didn’t tell me until I arrived that I would have to pay $50 to do it. That was not told to me till I was literally standing at the desk, checking in for my early check-in.. early.
