Residence Inn by Marriott East Rutherford Meadowlands

Room was nice and spacious but thermostat in our room wasn’t working properly. For this reason, I didn’t sleep well since I was hot all night. I tried to adjust the thermostat but it would return to 75. Also, my son was using their waffle maker at breakfast and burned his fingers pretty badly (had to take him to Urgent Care) and I was very disappointed by that breakfast buffet. Everyone was struggling with that waffle iron, the waffle kept getting stuck and it needed to be staffed by someone.

The lobby was also comfortable and well designed, which made it easy for me to get some work done during the day. The hotel was clean and quiet, and every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

All in all the experience was great

The room was clean and comfortable Loved that they had a stove and they also had cooking equipment,plates and silverware to use if needed. I will be staying there again if we travel that way again

The room (2 bedroom) exceeded my expectations as it was basically a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment with kitchen. My family and enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

Staff were very friendly, and the rooms were clean. The kitchen was ready for whatever you needed to prepare, and the breakfast area was clean, and everything was available up until end of breakfast time

Location, it was very quiet and clean. The hallways smelled magnificent I don’t know what they used but it was an inviting smell! The person who checked me in was great. I wish I remembered his name. One of the ladies running breakfast was very rude. I’m not sure if it was the language barrier but her energy and tone was very unprofessional.

Our 2-nights family stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott East Rutherford Meadowlands was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The moment we stepped into the building, we were greeted by a refreshing scent of pure cleanliness that set the tone for our entire visit. Check-in was smooth and incredibly quick. We stayed in a 2-bedroom suite, which was exceptionally spacious, spotless, and loaded with great amenities. Traveling with both a 7-year-old and a teenager can be a spacing challenge, but this layout gave everyone plenty of room. The beds and the sofa bed were all remarkably comfortable, ensuring everyone got a great night's sleep. We were also delightfully surprised by the housekeeping service. Even though it was a short stay, we returned from a trip to the local mall after our first night to find our room completely refreshed and cleaned. The indoor pool area was also pristine and well-maintained, which the kids loved. The staff members throughout the hotel were warm, friendly, and always ready to help. Breakfast was another major highlight: sumptuous with plenty of variety to choose from. My only minor suggestion for management would be to add a non-pork breakfast meat option, such as turkey sausage or turkey bacon, to accommodate guests who do not eat pork. Checkout was entirely hassle-free. We highly recommend this property for family travel and will definitely visit again.
