SpringHill Suites by Marriott East Rutherford Meadowlands/Carlstadt

When I arrived there was only one towel in the room. I asked for more but they didn't bring enough. We ran out of shampoo but they gave us some travel size so we could shower. The pool was extremely small and overcrowded. The breakfast wasn't great and I probably wouldn't stay there again. I also pulled a set of sheets out of the closet that was for the trundle bed and a puzzle piece fell out. I guess they don't wash the bedding. Also, paying to park where I was sleeping is just not acceptable

The hotel is okay but we had some issues. Some of the lights didn’t work so half the room was dark. There was almost no water pressure in the shower. The door to the bathroom is a barn door that had big gaps between the door and the wall. Privacy was a bit of an issue. The room was clean though and the maid was helpful. Breakfast was a chaotic mess. It’s free but not good and very limited.

We booked a room last minute due to severe weather preventing us from getting to our final destination. The hotel staff was welcoming and the property was VERY clean. $10 to park was well worth the cost when we received a call at 12:30am to let us know our internal car light was on. I can't thank them enough for letting us know so we didn't have to wake up to a dead car battery! The rooms were well appointed and spacious. Bathroom was clean and we had a large closet as well as a city view. The pool is small but it was nice to have one. 10/10 would stay here again as it was far superior to a diffferent hotel chain we booked in the next town over. Worth the extra drive and cost for next time. Very close to the America Dream mall and MetLife stadium. NOT WALKABLE to those locations as there are no sidewalks. Must take a car or ride share.

My only issue was the bartender was rude and seem like she was annoyed.

Even in the crush of dueling events at TAD and MetLife (Bruno Mars), a woman I can describe as cheery, competent, and sharp, remembered my name as I checked out. She's stellar at her job. Rooms were immaculate.

AC was not working and when asked to get the room replaced, the staff mentioned the other rooms are the same or worst. Staff was friendly and helpful but management and owners dont really care about customer experience.

The room and property was very clean. The staff was kind and welcoming. I would suggest replacing the king size mattresses. As the one in my suite was very comfortable. I also suggest to having parking included in all stays.

Staff pleasant & helpful esp Asia at front desk. I chose the hotel based on positive reviews which I why I’m also leaving one. Was a great 2 night stay. East access to Meadowlands for R&B Tour & American Dream Mall. Safe & convenient parking at entrance of hotel. Local eateries close proximity. First time here but will definitely stay again.

The property was conveniently close to the Stadium and American Dream mall. There were several plazas as well nearby which was extremely helpful. Can’t wait to go back.
