Hotel International

I paid for the room. I drove two hours to hotel international. Got there at midnight. Planned to stay two nights. Was told because I didn’t have a credit card they wouldn’t allow me to stay. I lost $200. I have never and will never use credit cards. I don’t borrow money, I don’t use debt as a tool. I pay with everything with my own money. I’ve paid larger deposits, which is fine, because I use debit. Never have I been turned away at midnight because I choose to use my own money on my debit card in my LIFE. I paid for the room. The price

Claimed room didn't have a refrigerator. Charged us $20 per night extra to get a room that has one. Toilet was so low it was difficult to get off of it.

The staff were fantastic and accomadating. The lobby of the hotel was so pretty. They had nice refreshments which included homemade cookies. The inside of the room looked like an entirely different building from the lobby. The room showed that it used to be an old, nasty hotel. The bathroom vent was dirty. There were spider webs on the ceiling, which did not allow me to get proper rest. There was a stale smell of old and unclean which needed to be refreshed.

The location was good in a busy part of Lynnwood. The price wasn't horrible. The bait-and-switch upselling is horrible. There are only 3 inexpensive rooms in the entire property which get listed on Booking and then on arrival there's a large screen at the desk used to persuade you not to rent one of those rooms "right next to the noisy elevator with all of the people coming and going and it doesn't even have a chair!" That's the message right there. For only $12 more you can upgrade to a room that isn't horrible. If I wanted to pay $12 more I'd stay somewhere else. The bed was and old spring mattress and not comfortable. They *removed* things from the room to make it undesirable. There room is the same as the more expensive one but with items removed. They put a smaller bed in the place where a larger one usually is, there's a giant space for a chair but it's just missing etc.. The cheap room exists to upsell which comes off as feeling dishonest. The worker/owner spent way too much time being fake/friendly to the point where we'd try to avoid contact with him. The sad thing is if they put the missing items back and replaced the mattress they might have a decent place.

Stayed here for five nights recently. Very quiet in the night. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Location was good for getting to the various events we needed to attend. Hope to stay there our next visit to the area. We had no complaints.

Beautifully appointed hotel. Rooms are simple but clean. Mattress was comfortable and THAT is what truly matters -- a good night's sleep!! The gorgeous lobby even has coffee, tea, and cookies available 24/7. A welcoming touch. Everything was fine. No complaints.

It was very quiet and clean. The staff was welcoming and always friendly. The location was an easy walk to the transit station. Would definitely stay there again, and recommend to others.
