The staff had an arm band that he said we should wear the time we are there in order to be indentified as guests in the building. In my opinion this is unacceptable. Guests don't have to be branded like cattle. I have not experienced this anywhere before!

The showers didn't have doors and were mixed gendered. No lockers tgat actually locked, no safety for personal objects.

Place is clean, rooms are large and shared kitchen and bathrooms generally all good. Location is interesting as is right in the centre of the city, but also opposite a bar which (possibly world cup related) very loud until 4am. this might be ok if your out yourself, but otherwise louder than you might expect. aside from the noise, the staff were ok on reception, but the cleaning staff were really friendly and nice.

Incredible location taking one step out and onto Puerta del Sol. Large room with good air conditioning and plenty of toilets/showers on our level to the number of rooms - never had to wait. Situated on a busy street with noise until 5am.
