Great location, friendly staff, decent sized room sometimes we got the smoke of cigarettes

Very close to Sol. Nice rooms and bathrooms. The only thing I would fault is the AC. It is not efficient, and I was hot the whole time. It was not even particularly hot weather in Madrid when I was there, so I can imagine what it’s like when it’s in the 90s out.

Location couldn’t be better. Maybe 10 to 20 m from Puerto del Sol and everything is a seven minute walk from there otherwise the metro station goes anywhere in town. The room was very small, but it was actually very quiet for where it was. I think because they aren’t large rooms there’s not much you can do in there aside from go to sleep. It was very clean brand new modern bathrooms with great water, pressure and immediate hot water. Personal air-conditioning that was very effective and I woke up cold a lot and had to turn it down. That being said the walls are paper thin, so if your neighbor decides to start having a conversation or listen to the television loud, you will hear it.

Everything is very well care, clean and nice. The cleaning was really good, and the lady in reception as well as the one who cleans de rooms, were very nice and did a great job.

Took a minute to find. Could use bigger signage.

Location Room was small . Shower was very small

The property is a little run down and there es no way of communicating with staff but to go in person to a different floor. In my room, the ac was not working properly - it even froze.

Walls are thin

The staff here made everything superb.

The location, the facilities, the staff, the price. Pretty much everything —though note my comment in re the shower. My issue with the shower was that, with the bathtub arrangements such as at this place [e.g., versus shower stalls], the risk of slipping, falling and injuring oneself is high. At minimum, grab bars would make a huge difference. One should not be fearful in the shower. Let me also add that Booking.com should remove the advisory note about the use of masks in the property. It was initially worrisome to read, though it proved to be outdated and a non-issue.

Good location with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Taxi stand was a half-block away. Our window overlooked the street.

Very quiet and small hotel. Room was very clean and relatively big. They have a secured spot to store luggage as well.

It was clean but not super clean. We had two beds pushed against each other, and they kept sliding around.

Clean, comfortable, centrally located.

No complaints about our stay!

The staff was super friendly and accommodating - went out of their way to help. The hostal is definitely conveniently located - just a stone's throw away from Sol. I have been here before, and I think the bathroom has been recently updated. The mini fridge in the room was an unexpected plus. I'm not sure if the wall was relatively thin or my next door neighbors were just loud.
