The lift was not working at the end of my stay

Noticed damage in small ways in the room. Pieces of veneer damaged. Some times wobbled under foot. Bathroom door didn’t open wide enough to be out of the way of the sink. Extremely thin walls. Could hear rooms next door speaking at normal volume, and their TVs.

The bathroom instalation could have been a bit better. Towels could have been a bit nicer. The price seems a bit expensive for what you recieve.

It was very noisy

the heating didn't seem to heat the room

Black mold stain on wall next to air conditioner and lack of ventilation in bathroom. Moldy smell in room. Water pressure and temperature inconsistent. Otherwise everything was ok. Mold needs to be addressed.

location was nice and very close to Gran Via and the size of the room is acceptable comparing to others in Madrid. In the first day, the heater was not working in the room but I have to admit that the staff was very supportive and they brought me a small electric heater to survive the first night. 2nd day, they brought me a large electrical heater and the issue was resolved. Good Action from the staff. The worst thing was the keys which the management should resolved. They give you three keys, one for the main door downstairs and the second one for the fourth floor entrance and the third for the room. Luckily the main door most of the time is open but you will have to struggle with the keys every time you come back to your room. very old style keys and it is really hard to open the door. you will have to leave your stuff one the floor and fight with the doors till you get access. I like the staff working there a lot so if they fix this issue I think I will use this Hotel as my Madrid first accommodation option!

Excellent stay! The hosts were extremely welcoming and always available for any request. The property was very clean. The location is perfect: very close to the city center and just a few minutes from Gran Vía, yet quiet and peaceful. Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout the stay. The room was comfortable, well organized, and cleaned daily.

The location is fantastic. The neighborhood is not the nicest, but is so close to everything you would want to do in Madrid!! It is a little hard to find, and on the outside it looks bad, but once inside everything was fine!

Amazingly clean It can get loud in the evenings - but when the window is closed problem solved

Staff were very kind, and the room was as expected for the price. Very clean but minimal comfort. The mini safe and tea kettle worked fine. Bed was comfortable enough, and towels were adequate. Bathroom is very tiny, it was a struggle to move between the shower and the sink. Definitely not a room for anyone with mobility issues. The elevator looks old but worked better than the ones in the Metro stations here. Close walk to lots of cafes, Gran Via Metro, etc. Love the location! Tiny bathroom. Towels are past their prime but oh well. There’s no common area to relax, so this is just a place to sleep and that’s it. No frills whatsoever.

Cleanness; brightness, bathroom w/a full size tub; a/c and a cloth line especially handy when you travel 24 days w/a carry-on bag; I washed the cloth I wore in the sink hanged and ready for the next day!!!! The staff, Mariana and excellent host and the cleaning lady (sorry I forgot her name) was exceptional. Will be back!!!! I liked it all an old building w/character and when you open your door to your room is totally updated and everything white!!!

Location was super easy to find with Google maps on my phone, Alex at reception was friendly and very helpful with room info, and tiny room had everything I needed for a great sleep and stay- teapot, fridge, TV, and clean bathroom and shower, comfy bed. Surprisingly quiet for Madrid nights.
