Exceptional

Definitely felt like a higher-end hotel, without the extremely high-end prices. We were welcomed by very friendly staff with a glass of Cava, and our bags were brought to our rooms very promptly. The hotel itself is beautifully appointed and dramatic, and everything was very clean. The room was comfortable and elegant, and the bathroom, with a double sink, two showers, and a separate toilet room with a bidet, was very nice. Some of the lights in the room were a bit difficult to figure out, and the only waste bin in the bathroom was very small and in the separate toilet room, but other than that, can't think of any complaints.

The service provided by all the staff was excellent. The interior design of the hotel was a delightful surprise. The location of the hotel was exceptional. The car park was great. The wardrobe automatic light did not turn off due to the hinged door not aligned. The suite room size was great but lacked shelving or storage space for bathroom items and suitcase placement.

The staff was wonderful, especially Paula and Carolina who both helped me enormously with my application for an emergency passport since mine was stolen in Bilbao. Occasionally the doorman was unavailable to help me with my things.

Rooftop No fresh air ventilation

The service and location were exceptional The pool area is very small and not well managed in the sense that sunbeds were left with towels on for hours, so other people did not feel able to use them and had nowhere to relax. This was something of a disappointment

The Staff Was very friendly and helpful. The location is great. You can walk the centre of the city in a few minutes. NIL

The location is very good, walking distance to major sites, restaurants and shops. The staff were particularly helpful and welcoming. Breakfast is excellent! Apart from having a very good selection, there is something specially pleasing about starting your day with white tablecloths and starched napkins. The room was a bit dark, the only window faced an interior courtyard. Absolutely no privacy in the bathroom. Shower and tub have a window facing the room, and even with the screen down, if the lights are on, it’s totally see through

Gorgeous hotel, lovely reception staff, complimentary glass of cava or water on arrival, complimentary minibar, the place smells incredible, lovely rooftop bar. Our room was situated right next to the cleaners’ storeroom so from 6am onwards the storeroom door was being constantly slammed and the cleaners were shouting back and forth at each other. Mattresses are also extremely firm which isn’t great for side sleepers - crushed shoulders.
