Though that it is bit outdated but the hotel in general was great and cannot complain about anything about it… Location is great in between 3 different Metro stations Gran via, Callao and Sol. Price compared to location and the good breakfast is very reasonable Our room was the special one with a small balcony. Nothing at all

The staff was very friendly and courteous—from the front desk to the ladies in the breakfast room and the housekeeping staff. Breakfast was excellent and had a great variety of options; the rooms were small but had everything we needed. Even though I had requested a room with a king-size bed, it turned out to be two twin beds pushed together, which didn't make for a very comfortable night's sleep. Also, the air conditioning didn't cool the room very well—considering it was summer in Madrid, having a cool room really helps.

The location is excellent as it is near the center so you can just walk towards Gran Via or Puerta del Sol and other places and then see many restos, shops, souvenirs etc along the way. We liked our room as it is at the corner end. Though we were at the first floor and there were sometimes noises from outside but since we are quite heavy sleepers, we didnt hear those noises. Breakfast was not bad. When we arrived at the hotel we were misredirected due to the sign of the hotel (there were two signs) but turned out we had gotten inside a restaurant under one of the signs of the hotel and the resto staff had to redirect us to the hotel with another sign. We walk only walk a few more steps but our baggage were quite heavy.
