The location was very central, the staff was really nice and available 24/7. The room was basic but clean. We had issue with our A/C (wasn't working during very hot days), they were really invested in fixing it and when it turned out the issue is bigger than expected, they changed our room immediately. They even compensated us by not charging for a locker to leave our luggage before our late flight the last day. There was a nice common area with refrigerator you can use. It was very noisy during the night which is expected from the location in the center of the city. There were some minor broken things in the room (ex. shower head holder, door handle) but not such a big deal.

El lugar es feo. Los cubículos incómodos, viejos. No hay lockers, en verano es el peor lugar

Location was good. Close to Puerta del Sol. Horrible stay. The AC didn't work. They claimed they fixed it. We were sweating for 2 nights. The door knob was broken. There was mold in the bathroom. The absolute worse part was that the elevator stopped working and I was traveling with my disabled husband. We were on the 7th floor and had to bring our luggage down 7 flights of stairs. I had to bring him down as best I could. No one helped, not even after saying they would help bring down the bags. The staff could have done anything to help the situation but choose not to. No empathy whatsoever. No sense of urgency. The female receptionist even laughed at the situation as if there was something funny. The absolute worst!

1. Noise levels Some guests report that the place can be noisy, especially at night, due to: Thin walls Shared dorm-style rooms (if staying in hostel rooms) Corridor noise from other guests 2. Room size Rooms are often described as small or compact Limited space for luggage in some room types 3. Cleanliness consistency Some reviews mention that cleanliness is not always consistent Bathrooms in shared rooms may require more frequent maintenance during busy periods 4. Bathroom sharing (in hostel rooms) In dormitory-style accommodation, bathrooms are shared This can lead to waiting times during peak hours 5. Limited amenities Basic facilities compared to full-service hotels Fewer luxury features (no gym, limited in-room extras, etc.) 6. Location trade-offs While often relatively central, some guests feel it is: Slightly outside main tourist streets Requires walking or metro to reach major attractions 7. Reception/service variability Some reviews mention inconsistent staff helpfulness Waiting times during check-in/check-out during busy periods 8. Temperature / ventilation A few guests mention rooms can feel warm or poorly ventilated depending on season Important note These points are based on common guest feedback patterns, not guaranteed issues for every stay. Many other guests still rate it positively for price and modern design. If you want, tell me your budget and I can suggest better hotels in Madrid (quiet, clean, and central) within the same price range

Room were dirty and smelly. I stored my food in the freezer, the next morning the food were disappeared in fact the hole freezer was clean and empty. Means that the stuff cleaned everything and threw the food didn’t bother to inform. I had to stay 1 night put of 4 because in my room it smells like poop. I told in the reception , they said they can’t do anything about it. Very disappointed.

Prime Location Price Is Great Comfortable Beds Big Rooms Very Central and Close to Puerta Del Sol The Lockers in the room had mixed locking systems. Some had simple badlock slot some required a Euro Coin on the inside to be able to turn the locking knob to slide in the badlock in, which was my locker unfortunately. Since nobody uses cash anymore, i didn't have a 1€ coin, so i had to go down to the reception to ask, the heavy set lady with reading glasses didn't care much when i told her i am not able to lock my valuable in my designated locker, she said she doesn't have a euro coin to lend me and simply raised her shoulders saying it's not her problem. So i had to carry all my valuables in my pockets walking through the city for 2 days.

you are allowing drunken and drug addicted unhygienic persons to stay

Location was great to just walk into the city center and was very close to most things. The check in and out was very simple and quick. the beds were actually very comfy and staying in an all women's dorm was quite and very comfortable. The check-in area and all the hallways practically smelled strongly of urine, thankfully that did not travel into the rooms but it was not very pleasant. It was nice to have the bathroom within our room but it was hard to be quiet and could do with at least a hand towel.

-
staffs cleans the room regularly and neatly. Not keeping the good conditioned scrubbing sponge, that is warned out need to maintain consumables available like scrubbing sponge.
-
Location. Common area could be bigger on the roof. Two bathrooms. Fridges are not kept very clean. No mugs and no tea/coffee services. Some beds in the room need fixations.

There's no bed light and no chair or table in the room. They should provide even small one. Thanks
