Modern and freshly renovated. - aggressive AC pointed to the bed - poorly designed and totally impossible to use during the night - 3 poor quality irons and iron boards for the whole hotel - very much inconvenient for a business traveler - 100eur cash security deposit (or writing down the credit card details) - no card pre-authorization possible.. Totally irrelevant for a modern safety and convenience - very basic breakfast

The location was very good, close to the airport and v close to a Metro. Its a little way out from the centre (25 mins by metro) but close to some decent resturaunts. Room was very nice, possibly could have done with more storage space. I did't have breakfast so was a little frustrated when they said I could not even grab a cup of cofffee, which would have costs them practically nothing. Pool is a little smaller than it looks but good for a refreshing dip.

The amenities were new and the hotel was super clean. The room was very spacious with a nice design. The mattress and pillows were incredibly comfortable, I had an amazing sleep! Air conditioning worked super well, and the pool was the highlight - so refreshing in the July heat in Madrid. The staff were very friendly and let me check out 2 hours later without an extra charge. There was no toilet brush in the bathroom, I find it very strange to not have it. The bedside light had an oppressive bright white color, not the best for relaxing. There were indeed not enough sunbeds as other reviewers mentioned, the pool was quite busy on Saturday and there was not enough space for everyone. The water in the pool was a bit dirty on Monday morning. Also, a simple body lotion would be a nice to have, as the shower gel left my skin very dry.

Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Metro station is about 3-5min walking from the hotel. Bed is huge and very comfortable and breakfast had a variety of options.

For almost $300 a night, this was likely the most over priced hotel we have ever stayed in. There is nothing in the area except for construction sites and industrial companies. Maybe their clients are on business travel. We stayed here to attend a concert about 1 1/2 miles away. If there is a next time, we would have paid extra for the taxi to take us to a hotel in a better location. Location, no restaurants, antiquated check in, just nothing to justified the cost of the room.

The issue spoiled the whole experience. Urgent issue of stolen/missing jewellery not being handled properly.
