Colectia Stays Atocha

The location is their best asset by far. It was a block away from the Metro, a couple of blocks from the Train station. Right next to the Reina Sofia Museum, and within walking distance to some of Madrid's top attractions. The room was very very small, yet I guess we kind of expected it given it is Europe. It worked for us as a couple, but I can see North American tourists probably not liking how small it was. Same goes for the elevator...

Excellent place. Very well equipped and the front desk person was really kind and helpful. The place was a walking distance to the main turistic places what saved us a lot in translation. N/A

Quiet and in Close proximity to transportation and major attractions

I wish the room had a microwave, and it was a bit too small to include a table and chairs for meals. Additionally, the bathroom drain was a little slow. It felt quite pricey for such a compact, basic room—though I suppose that might just reflect the expensive Madrid real estate market.

Excelent location

It was clean, it had an elevator. It was hard to find the front entrance, what is funny is that all the neighbors didn’t know there was a hotel there. That is crazy, we spent 30min in the cold asking people and restaurants the door to enter cause it looks like a regular apartment building. It was very close to the train station 5$ cab ride.

The room on the 4th floor was quite, clean with a comfortable bed. The location is great! It would be nice to have instant coffee in the room rather than have to wait to go downstairs at 9:30am. Longer hours for the reception would be helpful. Perhaps t begin at 9 am for the tourists.

Great location and room was simple, tidy and just what we needed. Area around accommodations have good options for food and grocery and feels very safe even in the late night.

I loved the proximity to the train station and various bars/restaurants. I also loved how clean it was and quiet.

Pretty small especially once you set up the pull out couch. There was no table other than a corner shelf with a stool and side tables. The check in time wasn't flexible.

The location was great, convenient to the train station without being too close. We had a nice corner room with two narrow balconies. The staff was very helpful, when they were there. The coffee station in the common area was excellent. The room was pretty tight, there was no closet (there was a rack with shelves), and the desk area was tiny. There was only someone at the desk for limited hours during the day, 9:30-ish to about 4, and the coffee station was only open when they were there.

Fantastic location - near Atocha station, and easy to walk to all the sights (Prado, Sol). Alex was really helpful and allowed us to drop our bags off when we arrived (9am) and texted us for an early checkin!
