Wifi wasnt working at night maybe it was a contemporary thing.

Location is great. Staff is very friendly. The place is always clean. The adjacent wall was paper thin. I could hear all sounds from my neighbor, shower, toilet. Opening the door. Bath extra small, I had to jump over the bidet in order to get out of the shower which is very dangerous. I have stayed here several times, but this time was truly not worth what I paid.

Great location. good bathroom. Fairly comfortable bed. The room was small, but the windows opened and everything was clean. The hall outside the room was under construction making a needed siesta rather difficult. The hallway has a strange angle to it and there were exposed pipes in the floor. I felt a little like I was interrupting. As I entered, the salon area was full of construction materials (they did clean that up by the nighttime, though).

Bed was comotable but a bit hard. Pillow was too soft. Last year the pillows were excellent.

I wasn't expecting much from a hotel that calls itself a hostel but our room was clean, quiet and had a safe, fridge, tea making facilities and air con. It was serviced daily and had a receptionist all daytime who was always friendly and helpful. It is very central for everything Madrid has to offer. I was really happy with the comfort of the bed too. There was wardrobe and drawer space to unpack clothes etc. The pillow was one long one for 2 people, which sort of was ok but a bit odd.

We recently stayed at Hostal Atocha Almudena Martín and had an excellent experience, worth every penny. Nestled right in the heart of Madrid on Calle Atocha, it's just a 2‑minute walk to Antón Martín Metro (Line 1) and under 10 minutes from Atocha train station, Plaza Mayor, and Puerta del Sol. Surrounded by cafes, restaurants, theaters, and museums like the Prado, Reina Sofía, and Thyssen. Our room had a comfortable bed, air conditioning, private bathroom, mini-fridge, TV, hairdryer, safe, kettle, and complimentary coffee and tea everyday. Best of all, the room felt quiet, with soundproofing that let we rest well after long days exploring.

Location is good, it's very close to the Plaza Mayor, goods groceries and coffes around there and very safe. Close to the Dia supermarket and very close quite place. The size of room, the cleaning of room, there's no sockets to charge a cell phone, the shower is very hot or very cold, there's no balance in temperature.

The location is god, is close to the plaza mayor. There is no space to work, no desk, no lobby, no common areas, no place where to meet, everything is so dark, the walls are so thin that you hear everything from outside, and from the other rooms, at the moment of booking this place it was not disclaimed all the rules that this place had, once you are there basically you are subject to whatever rule they want to make up, as long as it suites them, there are no common areas, if you are traveling for work this is no the place to stay. The space is so narrow, there is no space between the toilet and the sink. The shower leaks. I would never stay in this place, it seems like people are money hungry, the quality is horrible, the staff is not professional at all. You are on your own in this places. I will say it is even dangerous.

Excellent location. Everything was exactly as described. Good to spend one night. I did a last minute booking.
