Hostel Center Madrid

The bathrooms were so clean and well maintained. The best experience I’ve had in Madrid. Having to pay extra for towels wasn’t really my favorite thing and also the beds weren’t so comfortable. I wish there would have been comforters/blankets available bc it was often very chilly at night.

Great location! I stayed in Room 1. It was far too small for six beds, with not enough space to move around comfortably. The room has a sliding door that doesn’t close properly, so you can hear everything, including everyone walking through the hallway. You could even hear people in the bathroom.It was impossible to sleep! The bald man at the reception was unpleasant and unfriendly. The common area only had four chairs.

The location is top-notch. Beds are good to sleep, but quite uncomfortable as for the hostel, i.e. their usability is quite limited. Like, no hooks to hang anything, and access to the socket isn't the best. Well, the rooms are small and crowded. Almost no free space.

This is very reliably clean, comfortable and professionally managed. Every time. With staff that do not treat guests impersonally, and guests that are generally approachable. I had to call the police for an issue with a theft in another part of the community, and the house staff wouldn't let me use their phone. Unacceptable.

Curtains on the beds for privacy and a good nights sleep. Men’s and women’s showers were in separate rooms. Great location- close to the center but without all the noise at night. The vibe was a bit strange, I think because of the narrow set up and design of the place. The common area closed at around 11 pm

Staff were helpful and the facilities are set up so that you don't feel cramped in the room or the lounge. Bathrooms, specifically the showers, could use a little more spect to dress comfortably. The bathrooms are not good for dressing after a shower.

The smell in the room due to the lack of hygiene from some people but that doesn't have anything to do with them

Bed is very bad. And bathroom stinks. They didn't provide towels, nor bathroom mat.

I really like the no-no sense approach to going the extra distance in keeping the hostel very functional and low stress.Sometimes the guests (I have stayed a few times) are very, very interesting. Restless roommates, that was a little more than normal this visit.

The room that I stayed in looked much better than in the pictures! The bed had dividers and a curtain, which I appreciated a lot! Bathroom very nice and clean. The receptionist guarded my bottled water that i forgot at the desk which I appreciated a lot early in the morning as I was leaving :)) Some of the people in the room were a bit noisier that i'd like (around midnight - 1AM) but that's always a risk.

The amount of space to encounter other guests I had an appointment to do something nearby and yet I was late. I hate that!

The mixed dorm was comfortable, the Wi-Fi worked well, and the location was excellent with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. It was easy to move around the city and access everything we needed The bathroom was extremely small and could have been cleaner, and the area can get a bit noisy at night. The room was too small
