I had problems with my payment through booking, but the staff was very understanding and helpful. The location is very good, the district is very nice. Close to the train/bus stations and main tourist points. The staff takes good care of the room. There is a good AC, while much bigger hotel brands denied me AC during other stays I had in europe around the same season! The room may be a bit noisy, which is understandable due to the location. The bathroom is a bit small/tight, but manageable. Other than that, all perfect.

This is one of those places that are perfect when you need to stay a few nights and won't spend any time at the hotel. If you only require the basics, this is perfect. Even when the space is well utilized, the bathroom was way too small. Can't speak about other rooms, but in mine I couldn't even seat on the toiler propertly, as it was stuck into the corner, less than 10cm from the shower.

The location is good. Room is clean. What a nightmare experience. Don’t stay here if you have to check in late. There is definitely not 24 hour reception as listed. Our plane was delayed 5 hours and we didn’t get to the hostel until 12:45am. We were left on the street trying to contact the property for 45 minutes, despite messaging on booking.com when we landed. Rang the buzzer 30 times, called the multiple phone numbers listed over and over. On one call someone picked up but then immediately hung up again and then blocked my calls. After 45 minutes of trying to contact Hostal Fernandez on the street outside the property, the owner and his family came strolling in after having an outing to which he was not apologetic whatsoever. All he did was ask us to pay, gave us the key and said nothing else. No explanation for why he was not there for check in. The room was clean but very small. The walls are paper thin so another room’s TV woke us up at 7am and could hear every word of the show. The WiFi is also poorly sign posted with a terrible and slow connection. The street is also very noisy even with the windows shut with garbage trucks at 3am.

The hostal was great for the money that you paid, the location pretty convenient. Clean and comfortable. When I had an issue with the key, the staff helped me out. They were really friendly. Sometimes, it was difficult to try to open the main door with the key. It has some kind of security mechanism or something.

Bed bugs! I am all over with huge bites, ruined my holiday. The shower curtain was also moldy. The location is however very nice and the street has a great vibe. The bakery downstairs is amazing! Bed bugs…. Mold

We were 2. It was cheap and safe. The street was historical and so close to public transport.

Great location, clean and comfortable room, surprisingly good water pressure. The locks on the doors were a bit knacky but the owner happily showed us the way when we were stuck Was a little noisy outside until about 2am, obviously not the hotels fault and it was a Saturday, but if you like quiet and an early night maybe not the one for you!

The location was good There was a used band-aid inside the bed, the glasses in the bathroom were dirty and had white powder, the beds were super uncomfortable and it was very very noisy at night (the window was not insolated at all).

Excellent location, clean room, comfortable bed, good water pressure. Walls are thin and therefore it can be a bit noisy. The check in took quite long.

Property was very clean and very well located. It’s placed in a Main Street so it is loud outside. Bring your earplugs and it will all be fine :)
