I liked absolutely nothing from here, the place has no redeeming qualities. Everything, there is not a single thing I liked about the place. But most specially the absolute lack of staff. They give you all the info through Whatsapp and when something bad happens all they respond is "this is a hostal, not a hotel". Absolute zero respect and responsibility, this is the worst place I've been to in my life. I've been safer, more comfortable and better treated at random people houses in poor rural villages than in here. There is no reception working at the hostal, they have a noticei n the rooms that everything outside the lockers will be thrown away, since my suitcase didn't fit I left it outside and left to the street, when I came back at night it was not there. I spent 3 days relentlessly asking the customer supporto n whatsapp, and on the third day on the afternoon they got back to me and told me that the janitor had thrown my suitcase with all my good clothes, valuables and personal use objects to the garbage. They say they are not responsible and that it's all my fault. They don't have any staff to guide you or lock your things in a storage room, the rooms have a constant smell of diarrhea and piss, there are a ton of sketchy looking people who go in and out of the rooms and don't seem to be staying there... you don't feel safe there for a second, I hardly could sleep and felt that when I fell asleep someone would steal anything I had with me on my bed. They stole my charger...

Adequate price -quality ratio.

Great for San Isidro fair Staff so rude, they checked our lockers without our consent

The hostel was too dirty, especially the bathroom! Its staff, especially that man, was not polite and kind! There was not any stuff in the kitchen to use, and all those few plates were in a bad shape! That was appointing and its score should be 1 NOT 6

Everything Nothing

Only the location was fine, nothing else. False: staff answers messages by booking app (never answered in booking app, only in whatsapp). False: 24h people in frontdesk (there were no one after checking time). Not mentioned in booking: checkin only by whatsapp, so mobile was obligated, not optional. Booking customer support service was not helpful.

It was a good for it's price but it was being built as the time we stay, so for the first night our door haven't had a door knob that caused constant cold airflow to get in the room. Also because it has self entrance and no reception it was kind of dangerous as people can just come and enter from the door that can may be left open by the others. The beds aren't very soft and also the locker password only constitutes 3 digits that means it can be cracked open approximately in 40 minutes, by not having another way of locking it; the lockers made us feel hesitant about the safety. Rooms was kind of clean but my pillow sheet was filthy so I needed to change it. Having the door of the room 7 inside of the room 6 caused a lot of traffic throughout the room that caused sleep deprivation.

The guests will not clean behind themselves. They use the little dishes that were meant for a smaller hostel and throw them in the sink, or leave them on the table. I really believe that some live there... There's no worker enforcing the rules that are posted on the wall. It used to be just a few months that Oasis was clean and nice with a full time attendant. Now, you find mainly "no one on duty". Just a few months ago, the hot water was in and out in the mornings and at night, and that was even with 2 person bunk beds. Now, Oasis added another bed on top making it a triple bunk bed, meaning more people, and less hot water. I'm sure the company didn't put in a new hot water heater!! Yaks!! There's never been hot water in the kitchen for some strange reason. The microwave is barely working, it kicks off, or trips a fuse or something. This place used to be an OASIS!!! The restrooms are duty until the morning cleaning person comes in. So that means dirty everything towards the bathrooms for most of the day. Also, there's no hanging hooks or racks in the bathrooms, there never has been! But since they took away the full time staff, it really feels like THE COMPANY OWNERS JUST DON'T CARE! They added more beds, which means more people, and they actually CUT/TERMINATED the STAFF! I'm SO ANGRY AND MAD! I came to the hostel to visit family nearby, now I have to reassess my thoughts about this place called Oasis.

The listing indicated that they had parking, however when you arrive at the site, it turns out they will direct you to a public parking garage, which will cost you depending upon how close it is anywhere from €22-€16 a night and can be anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes walk away. There is absolutely no parking anywhere close to this location and you cannot even pull up to the door to unload because there is traffic coming through and you would completely block it off.

Not even a locker per bed, lockers don't accept padlocks, and the bunkbeds are three high. Plus no staff on site at least at 11pm. The hallway smelled like legit poo as signs in the bathroom told you not to flush anything, so TP goes in the garbage can I guess. Front door and room doors were often open, so zero safety. Price was super high at $150 due to a football match in town, but my flight was cancelled, so I needed something.
