Perfect location in the heart of the central district. So much was walkable from this spot. The rooms were very nice. We borrowed a Rick Steves guide book to help with touring.

Location, and the cost. Arrival after check in hour was easy
-
Coffee and pastries available 24/7 for free
-
The bathroom was too small but it has everything you need

Checkin was easy, the staff was pleasant and helpful. The facility had a community refrigerator and access to cold breakfast foods: cereal, milk, coffee and tea. The room had everything I needed, shower, bed, and tv. The shower mat was too small when getting out of the shower -- for safety.

Location, location, location! It was close to everything you want to see in Downtown Madrid. The front desk girl was very kind and helpful. Coffee, water and fridge were available at the common kitchen. Place was very clean and quiet. Overpriced for a hostel. Rooms are comfy but very small, tiny little bathroom with no privacy in the shower. The safe did not work.

The location was central and the staff were lovely and eager to help. There was a little kitchen as you walked in, stocked with some breakfast goodies. And the beds were quite comfortable. Even without asking, we got fresh towels every day and out beds were made. The room was incredibly tiny. No room for privacy for 1 person to dress or dry off from shower unless you went into the toilet room. The handle from the room's door came off In our hands. We were worried about being stuck in the room. No one to speak with in the evening to help with fixing it. Because of how close each room is to each other, you need to always keep your voice down so as not to disturb the other guests. There was no extra lock on your door to make you feel safer or even a peephole to look out and see if someone waas there.. no "do not disturb" sign. All these things made us not want to return during tge day to rest a bit. Just not comfortable.

- Super central location, which is within walking distance to main Madrid sights and museums (10-15 min walk to Thyssen-Bornemisza museum and Prado); I was able to walk around easily between different neighborhoods (Lavapies) - Super friendly and helpful staff and receptionist - Fridge in common area, where you can store your groceries - Elevator in the building - Close to many restaurants and bars and pedestrian area - Could store luggage at hostal after checkout and explore the city - Price matched the two star ratings - Accommodated an earlier checkin - Comfortable bed and ear plugs provided, since the room was around the corner from the common area - Air conditioning - Availability of extra blankets in the closet - Coffee machine makes good strong coffee - Common area close to reception could have been a bit more spacious, but it was OK - Occasional sounds from the bathroom when people flushed toilets in other rooms, but the noise was not super disruptive when you closed the bathroom door - Room was a bit small at 10 sqm but not a problem if you are looking for a place to rest and will be outside mostly

Location & staff

Location was close to favourite museums and restaurants. Staff was very responsive

Everything’s great — the hostel is well located. The room is very clean and has everything needed. Also, the coffee and tea corner is much appreciated. The girl at the reception is very friendly too. I wish I could stay longer ? Until next time. Nothing

The location was great. Safe neighborhood, close to the Prado, Sol Plaza, and lots of restaurants. A/C was just right; not too cold and not too loud. The bed was firm and the room was not fancy, but it functioned right. Self serve coffee/ tea; microwave, Frig with milk for coffee, and breakfast cereal, yogurt, toast & jam. My only suggestion (complaint),was another towel hook in the bathroom. Not a big deal.

It can be a little noisy during the night. But they have earplugs available in the room.

Great location within walking distance to all sightseeing places in Madrid.
