Staff members were nice, the room was spacious and clean, the location of the hotel was very convenient - close to all of the landmarks, but still quiet. The breakfast options are very basic.

The hotel is so beautiful, my neck was on constant swivel trying to lap up the old world charm and the kind and friendly staff was truly the whipped cream and cherry and top of the multi layer of beauty and charm! My stay was too short! I need to return for a longer stay at the hotel!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Aava Malacca Hotel. The place is beautifully decorated and truly has a charming atmosphere, it feels like traveling back to the past. My room was very spacious, spotless clean and comfortable, I slept very well. Location is also great, just a few minutes to Jonker Walk and lots of shops and restaurants. Definitely recommended!

The room was larger than I had anticipated, especially the bathroom. Cleanliness was very good and the room was quiet. It has a small refrigerator and a safe. The staff were polite and helpful. Would stay again if ever come to this city again. The hotel seems to have been converted from a rich Chinese family’s home, so it has a warm nostalgia feeling. The breakfast menu was very limited and quality was low, but it’s not a deal breaker for me. I wish the room has a small hand towel for each guest instead of just a large bath towel.

Hotel Aava is a beautifully decorated and well-maintained older building with quiet, spacious rooms and an excellent staff where everything works: AC, Wifi, hot water. The breakfast is perfectly satisfactory, and the 'Campong Oolu' restaurant across the street is also excellent and very attractive. Our room didn't have a window; this, however, was not a problem.

The location is excellent, and the staff was very friendly. The TVs need to be updated to smart TVs. They still have old TVs with five or six local channels.

The hotel set up and decorations are lovely. Overall pleasant stay. The breakfast was not good. Croissant wasn't really a croissant. The chicken slice was not great. The breakfast could be better. I couldn't have my breakfast on the second day and I noticed other hotel guests were not having breakfast on the second day too. The room 106's bathroom shower area was blocked. Water couldn't flow

The room was tastefully decorated with basic bathroom amenities. My room window is overlooking the airwell. The location of the hotel has its back facing the riverwalk with stalls and tables to enjoy the riverside in the evenings. It is also within walking distance to Jonker Street. Maybe to remind other guests to be mindful to keep their voices down in common areas eg dining area. There was a family with a small child that shouts a fair bit in the morning while having breakfast. The voice travelled up the airwell and can be heard quite loudly even with the room windows closed.

Walking distance to Jonker Walk approximately around 5-6mins. And behind/ back door the hotel are riverside walk where u can take a stroll which available till 10pm. The room are okay. Light breakfast ( omelette, pancake, etc base on the menu set provided) & have extra item you can take like toasted bread, cereals , I like it. Maybe will come back someday. No swimming pool, it's closed. Seems look like it's under maintenance or permanently closed I guess, look muddy. The hotel are old and have some area look abit run down. Hopefully someday it will be fixed.

Room was dusty and not properly cleaned; no hand soap provided. Loud street noise and mosque call at 5:45am disturbed sleep. Shower bar was broken on arrival; only fixed after insisting due to baby’s safety. No room upgrade offered despite maintenance issues and low occupancy. Overall, expected better for the price paid

The location of the Hotel was excellent with easy access to the Evening market and other areas of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Breakfast was good and the room was spacious for two persons. N/A
