I have stayed at Hampton Inns before. Location was close to amusement park. I expected more. Front door had a sign since the sliding glass door was broken. The hotel was a bit run down. There was plenty of parking. Workout room was good. I had two reservations. One for friday and one for saturday. At checkin, I asked if we can stay in the same room both nights. Later I asked if they needed to change something and they said just come down in the morning, and we will fix it. If i hadn't asked, would they have done something? 2nd floor room. Hallway to the left had a curtain up and was a disaster. Apparently they are remodeling. Room had toe nail polish all over one piece of furniture. Table tops were dusty and had some dirt. Beds were clean but sheets had stains. Beds were comfortable. Room and bathroom edging and caulk in the bathrooms were a mess. Very poor lighting and room was very dark. TV did not have a menu, could only flip channels. Breakfast was included. Quality was not good. Even my 15 year old turned her nose at it -she eats everything. Coffee tasted like watered down folgers. I did not eat the breakfast. This was closer to a Quality Inn than Hampton. I give it 2 stars at best.

This hotel is full of mold. The 1st room. I was in had visible mold in the corners of the room and on the bathroom ceiling. It was horrible. The 2nd room was better mold but still poorly renovated.

Well the room wasn’t very clean. Looked like mold in the tub and ceiling in the bathroom. The air conditioner wasn’t cooling off even on high. I think the front desk person is over worked he was sleeping at one point. The breakfast was the best and very good. Everyone was very nice tho.

No was this is so good

The bathroom shower head was really bad with build up and various areas in the shower. I did let the 1st desk know about it at checkout and they were very apologetic. The fantastic breakfast made up for it.

The property was not clean, and is under extensive renovation. The pool was totally nasty and unusable. Our room was changed abruptly with no choice other than for them to go and remove our belongings without us there. This whole process of switching rooms cost us over an hour of time with no offer to partially refund even 1 day of our stay. The room the switched us to was lacking basic amenities and looked nothing like the photo from our booking. When we complained to the number of different front desk staff they basically told us to F off. I’m now in the process of charging back the whole stay from my credit card. What a nightmare, avoid at all costs!

Arrived - at 4:30 pm on a Saturday - nobody present at reception desk - no "right back" sign on desk - walked around a bit, knocked on Office door (no response) - an individual in blue jeans eventually came down hallway - checked me in (no recognition of Hilton Membership or anything. Room was fine (nothing to write home about) - however, it was right across from dining area (which I did not appreciate at 6:30 am Sunday listening to screaming baby being fed. Room 110 should be LAST room assigned (we were not last). Appreciate the small bottle of mouthwash and bar of soap in the bathroom. Just didn't seem worth $177 in May....

Upon entering the room it was ok at best, old beaten up, bathroom needed a better cleaning, but hey, it was a cheap room. Then we started finding the problems. The sink drained very slowly, the bottles were not all mounted in the shower & lights did not work. Upon return to the room for night 2 we found that outlets and lights on one side of the room that worked earlier were now completely dead. The door was very tough to unlock & open initially, then we realized it was a struggle because it does not lock at all and you can just push the door open. With that, the side access doors with signs saying they are locked at night were wide open, & we were on the 1st floor. So we ask to move rooms. We received one of the renovated rooms, which was a pretty pathetic upgrade. In this newly redone room, the tub does not drain & is filthy, the latch catch on the door was missing, there are no curtains, and the mini blinds do not block out any of the parking lot lights so it was daylight in there all night long. Our previous stay at a different Hampton was sketchy too, but after this visit we will not be going back to any Hampton ever again This is a poor hotel choice for the area - Kings Island guests, beware & stay elsewhere!!

The only thing I liked was the front desk staff, they tried to give me another room - and very swiftly canceled my stay when I asked for a refund because of the conditions, they were very apologetic and nice. The rooms were disgusting, hair in BOTH of the king bedroom's beds (the one they tried to give me after my initial complaint) the mold and rotting drywall and caulking in the bathrooms, and the discolored tubs. Mildew smell from the AC unit and overall just not staying conditions period, especially ones right next to a themed attraction - tourist area - i could not believe for the price - the state of the hotel.

The breakfast was the best part of the stay. There were plenty of towels, which was also nice. Bed was sufficiently comfortable. Staff was pleasant. Everything else was just ok. Not dirty but not completely clean rooms, no removal of trash daily, a lightbulb was barely hanging on in the lamp, and the coffee maker wasn’t clean.
-
The caulk on the tub was moldy. No interaction with staff. Eggs were watery. Room was clean except tub area.
-
Clean, friendly staff.
-
Not your typical Hampton. Left the hotel and ate the price due to condition. Dirty sheets, dirty room…
-
Room needs to be updated, tub looks awful, food was good. Stairwell was filthy with papers and white stuff all over carpet.
-
Location It’s worn. Needs a refresh. For example arms of sitting chair were noticeably soiled. Room smelled like gym socks.

The property around the hotel was littered with trash. Inside, there were several broken windows around the pool. Behind the center table between the queen beds was filthy! Behind the TV was filthy! There were long black hairs left in several places in the room. The door closures were poor and doors slammed throughout the night. The HVAC unit rattled when running.

Breakfast was excellent. Workout room was sufficient and clean. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I also enjoyed they had a snack area where you can buy snacks and ice cream bars. Convenient and tasty.

Great place to stay.
