Tru by Hilton Mason Kings Island

The hotel is clean and so was the room. The breakfast was really pretty good and the woman who staffed the breakfast was lovely. There was no hot water in shower and when I called down I was told it was because too many people were showering but I did have hot water in the sink so it was clearly a shower problem. The person who I spoke to on the phone was not helpful and was really pretty condescending.

There were a number of items in our room that needed to be repaired. The shower door did not close properly so quite a bit of water got onto the floor. The toilet seat was broken. The window leaked so water got all over the floor.

All very streamlined and easy from check in to touchless check out. Rooms nice and clean just as was the case with the rest of the facility. Very convenient to Kings Island and area restaurants.

The property and room were very clean. There were plenty of staff members who were diligently maintaining everything. The manager was friendly and acommodating. The air conditioning in my room was good and the bed was comfortable. The location is conveniently close to the Mason Family Tennis Center.

Good location for tennis open. Breakfast could use more variety. Bathroom wallpaper was taped up, but room otherwise clean and a bit small.

Check in was terrible & our window was leaking with visible water damage. Lobby furniture was stained and the main ice machine broken. There was constant noise all night and morning.

I was nervous at first reading past reviews but we had no problems at all. Yes rooms were small but we were there for kings island and not to stay in room. Rooms were cleaned every day which was a nice change compared to other places we have stayed at . Breakfast was your typical free breakfast at a hotel. We went towards end of breakfast and they were still filling up everything that was empty

Great stay, everything was clean, staff was kind and helpful. Very close drive to Kings Island. Excellent and convenient location near lots of restaurant's.

It was nice but there

The daytime (morning/early afternoon) staff is attentive and nice. Evening staff was seldomly near area and were seen on their personal computer and not engaged. We asked for extra pillows on night one and a couple of bottles of water and evening staff was not very accommodating. Room: Sheets were very warn and coming undone Bathroom door did not close properly or lock Shower door did not close properly and water was coming out. Told management about bathroom door and they thanked us for letting them know.

The room was small with no coffee maker in room. No closet , small desk, shade mounted crooked on wall, shower door did not close all the way and water presure weak., breakfast was only scrambled eggs, no meats . Bagels, toast or pancakes. Pool water was cloudy. More like a two star hotel.

The 1st floor ice machine was broken; the 1st floor rest rooms were in need of cleaning. The lamp shade in our room was missing. The air/hear unit made very bad noise making it hard to sleep. There were also good items, plenty of towels, clean room, the floor felt sticky. The hallways were swept. The breakfast was very nice and still had items for use we got there very close to cut off to eat.

Without a doubt the worst hotel I've stayed in. Air conditioner broke in our room for the last ful day we were there. Staff lazily attempted to fix the air conditioning unit but failed in all attempts. They did not offer us another room as the hotel was fully booked per their claim. This was on a hot humid August night and the room was basically a sauna overnight. To make matters worse, the hotel was overbooked with guests and the continental breakfast was adequately supplied to handle the volume of people there at any time during breakfast hours. The pancake machines didn't work half of the time. And to wrap up a terrible stay where I couldn't get sleep the final night before a long drive, the building fire alarm went off at 7:15 am causing everyone to evacuate. No chance to catch up on sleep because the idiots in the kitchen fried one of the microwaves. Do not even think about reserving a room in this trash dump.

Family friendly hotel close to the amusement park. Nice breakfast and pool. Seemed understaffed, one person was doing the job of two. No towels at the pool.

This location was very close to the Kings Island amusement Park and many different restaurant choices nearby. It also was only about a 20 to 30 minute ride to downtown Cincinnati and easy to access all of the events. The staff was accommodating and the hotel desk clerk that checked us in/out was very friendly and personable. He made our stay enjoyable and ensured. We were happy with our room.
