Breakfast was very good. Location of the hotel was ideal as it is closed to Haram. Size of the room and the space between the beds were very tight. There were no room to even pray salah.

Location and the elevators that take you directly to the street I booked a Kaaba View room because that was the main reason I chose this hotel. When I arrived in Makkah, I discovered that my confirmed reservation had been cancelled due to an alleged credit card issue. I had specifically chosen the “pay at the property” option, my card was valid, and I used the same card to pay successfully at check-in. The hotel said they had emailed me requesting payment only about three hours before my arrival, while I was already traveling and at the airport. A confirmed reservation should not be cancelled with such short notice, especially when the guest has chosen to pay at the hotel. As a result, I had to book a partial Haram View room instead. The room was very small, and the view was disappointing, facing a wall and another building with only a tiny glimpse of the Haram. The area outside the window was also dirty, with broken glass and pigeon droppings. After I explained that this was unacceptable, I was eventually moved to a much better room. Unfortunately, the confusion continued even after my stay. After I had already paid, checked out, and emailed the hotel about my experience, I received a reply telling me that I needed to pay or my reservation would be cancelled—even though my stay had already ended. This reflects serious administrative and communication issues. The standard rooms are quite small. The minibar contained only bottled water, with no soft drinks, juice, or snacks. There were also no tissue boxes in the room, and when I called room service at night to order a drink, no one answered. I am very disappointed with the way this situation was handled. The customer service representative who assisted me was kind, patient, and genuinely tried to help, and the rest of the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. However, I received no apology or explanation from management—not in person and not even in response to my email.

Second time staying at this hotel and this stay was even better than the first time as we got a room with a beautiful Kaaba view. The breakfast and lunch options were fantastic as always and the service was high quality. Highly recommend! N/A

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Swissôtel Makkah and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel’s location is unbeatable, offering breathtaking views of the Holy Kaaba and providing easy access to the Haram. The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully designed to ensure comfort and tranquility during such a spiritual journey. What truly set our stay apart, however, was the outstanding service. In particular, I would like to commend Manager Faizan whose professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made our visit unforgettable. As me and my family came with my elderly mum, we were feeling quite anxious about her stay and wellbeing but Manager Faizan went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was seamless; whether it was assisting with check-in, accommodating special requests or simply greeting guests with genuine kindness. It is rare to encounter someone who combines efficiency with such heartfelt hospitality and he embodies the very spirit of Swissôtel’s commitment to excellence. I wholeheartedly recommend Swissôtel Makkah to anyone visiting the Holy City. With its perfect blend of comfort, convenience and exceptional service. Especially thanks to the dedication of Mr Faizan, it truly feels like a home away from home :) The Nesrle water bottles! Should be boycotted and start using glass bottles

I had an excellent stay at Swissôtel Makkah. The highlight was our room with a direct view of the Holy Kaaba, which made the experience truly unforgettable. It was very special to hear the Athan from our room. The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and always lively, reflecting its popularity among visitors. The location is perfect, with direct access to the shopping mall, and a wide variety of restaurants, cafés, and shops. The buffet was outstanding, especially the breakfast, which offered a great selection of international cuisines to suit guests from different nationalities. The staff were professional, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. The hotel is very busy, especially during peak prayer times, which is understandable given its excellent location. Other than that, everything was very well organized and enjoyable.

Kabah view; Location; Buffet dinner was yummy! 90 minutes to check in; 3 times we contacted housekeeping, they didn’t bother to get the job done. Once, we called for 3 prayer mats; they gave one and we had to repeat our request twice over the course of a couple of hours, to get the stuff; at another instance, the staff had to bring us back 350 SAR and we had to call after over an hour to get our change back; a third time, we accidentally spilled cola on our duvet; called them twice to change it ; they’d say okay and nobody ever showed up. We ended up using the dirty duvet for the rest of our stay.

The AC on the room is horrible, it’s either too cold and loud or hot

The staff was extremely professional throughout my stay. I would like to give special thanks to Waleed, who was exceptionally professional, kind, and always willing to help. I would also like to express my sincere appreciation to the receptionist (I’m sorry I forgot her name). She graciously upgraded my room to a panoramic Kaaba view on the 42nd floor. It was the best room I have ever stayed in, and the view was truly unforgettable. Thank you for making our stay so special. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Makkah.

We had a brilliant stay at Swissotel Makkah. My whole family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was very comfortable, great Kabah view, the inroom dining was excellent with delicious food, and the hotel’s location is outstanding—just a short walk to the Haram with convenient access through the tower and Ajyad Street. The reception staff were exceptional, especially the two ladies who assisted us with check-in and the Express Checkout via WhatsApp. They were professional, kind, welcoming, and made everything quick and effortless. Overall, the service exceeded our expectations, and we truly appreciated the warm hospitality. There was nothing significant to dislike. Our experience was excellent from check-in to check-out, and everything met or exceeded our expectations. Only at one instance the make up room got delayed and they had assigned wrong room number to hospitality team which caused delay.
