Motel 6 Medford, OR - North

The front desk clerk was obviously overwhelmed with all the guests, but she was surprisingly attentive and kind under the circumstances. She transferred me to another room, which was somewhat cleaner, but the issues didn't end there. There were no toiletries provided — no shampoo or anything else you'd expect. To make matters worse, the price for this stay was outrageous. Normally, Motel 6 rooms are $60-$75 a night, but that weekend I was charged a staggering $228 for the weekend. Everything about this experience felt off and unprofessional. To top it all off, homeless people were walking through the property freely, which made the environment feel unsafe and neglected. I've stayed at other Motel 6 locations before and had better experiences, but this one was a huge disappointment. I will definitely not be returning and would not recommend it to anyone.

Terribly dirty halls.

The hotel was very noisy - people partying in the hotel and staff did nothing about it. The TV did not work. The toilet did not work and had to use the ice bucket to pour water into the tank to get it to flush. Just was renting a room while on a roadtrip and just finding a place to watch a little TV and sleep for the night before getting back on the road and it was not a good experience. Told staff in the morning when checked out and just a they would tell their manager response. This motel was rated like 7.4 and that is why we picked it over others. Shocked to experience all of this.

This property is very nasty and very gross and I would not recommend staying here ever

Bed was awful. Rate charged was crazy for the thin walls, people look like they actually live here?

So this is part two of a three-part visit to Medford Oregon this year. The staff viewed my last review and upon arrival informed me I was booked for room 204. One of the most comfortable beds I have come across in moteling the last 10 years. I will be back on The 25th for another weekend of work and have already reserved room 204.

Staff was courteous and rooms were decent. The air conditioner could have been better. Felt like it was blowing slightly cold air but we were still sweating in our room. Just wasn’t working properly. Otherwise the stay was good.

Arrived very late, staff was super accommodating and friendly, check in and check out was efficient, room was clean and bed was comfortable. Convenient to the Medford airport.

It’s more or less okay for an overnight stay after a long day on the road.

Never again will I stay at a Motel 6. Broke down and depressing in a horrible part of town.

Great price for a nightly stay

Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. The first time the staff guy was helpful and friendly. I booked two rooms, one was good, but the other one reeked of cigarettes and it was supposed to be a non smoking room. The second day of check-in was terrible, it was a different person from the night before, and the lady was rude. We had some issues at the room so I called to ask for help. She said she would be there in a few minutes, but she never showed up.

I booked a smoking room and when I got there they sold my room to somebody else and and had no more available with 2 beds. The ice machines were down in the microwave. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months.

Pool was open and pretty clean.

A/C works very well, a little too well. But, I managed to get one of the older models to get the settings on a better setting.

The fact that I have started to get acquainted with these folks is a great thing, they know my needs, by my name and I have a good night sleep when I'm there.

I booked for a king size room, admittedly at the last minute. Upon arrival I found two queen beds. Was told the only king was a smoking room and would smell of smoke. The bed would possibly be affected as well. Pool was cloudy although being used, mostly kids. As for the beds, very basic, hard. I could go on but you get the picture. It has been a while since I have stayed at a Motel 6, they used to work but not so much anymore.
