The host gave us a free upgrade to a room with a balcony. The room itself had wonderful views of the mountains and countryside. We went for a short walk and saw eagles albeit it from a distance. The host got up early to provide us with breakfast as we had to leave early for the ferry Everything was great.Nothing to dislike.

Quiet and convenient location on way to Santander. Lovely countryside views from peaceful garden and shaded terrace. Good sized quadruple room (double and 2 tier single & pull out single). Lovely big bathroom and shower. Very helpful host with great local dinner recommendations.

Staff was really nice and helpful. The location is good if you don't want to be in the city centre, there is a big garden to rest. Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is nice. There was a heat wave when we were there and there was no AC or ventilator in the rooms, we didn't sleep very good. Also, no coffee machine in the rooms or in the reception, nor any refreshments (only a vendor machine outside). It would be nice to be able to rest in the indoors cafeteria area during the day (only open for breakfast).

Very but very tiny rooms. great acoustics between all rooms, all conversations of all neighbors are shared with you at all hours of day and night.

Everything was great: location, price, staff, bedroom, comfort… I recommend Nūbes for dinner, which is very close to the hotel (Solares). Without a doubt, the price of the breakfast is amazing (3€), but what I didn’t like was the fact that you can’t have more than one glass of orange juice (you can have more than one coffee though). My husband only drinks this for breakfast, so it wasn’t fair at all. They told us that they prepared the exact amount of juice according to the miner of guests. Personally, adding 3 or 4 more oranges wouldn’t be a catastrophe.
