The location is amazing, right on the town square and below the Melk Abbey. Plenty of eating options nearby. Appreciated the fan in the room, given the extreme heat.

The location was excellent, since my purpose in visiting Melk was to spend time at the Melk Abbey. Steps, but I was aware of that when I booked. That's not a complaint, just an observation.

Location was very good. You could look up the window and see people in the Square enjoying themselves. Had a nice bike shed for storing your bicycle. The beds in the room were comfortable . The room was fairly small. 2 things, 1…When you came to reception, there was a note saying to call a number to get the staff to the front desk on WhatsApp. I couldn’t get WhatsApp to work so I waited 10 minutes until a cleaner came and called the owner, who was out in the car park sunning himself. 2… there is a restaurant attached in the basement of the hotel. Not sure if they own it or not, but there was no breakfast offered. Only you could pay for a breakfast down the street for a bit of a discount but the thing that blew me away was he offered a 25% discount on the coffee to go in the restaurant in the basement of the hotel. Very strange since I’ve been paying the same amount for different hotels, including phenomenal breakfasts.

Very charming and cute. The proprietors were very nice. The bus service to the town is convenient and free with a visitor pass provided when checking in electronically. I liked it a lot

Location is really center of the city. Staff are incredibly nice and helpful. I arrived very late and the guy awoke to check me in. Breakfast is lovely. You really feel safe and welcomed no elevator and my room was in the 2nd floor. however, they helped me with the bag.

Basically hotel run by 3 individual persons Unfortunetly there is a difference as white and black in behaviours Gentelman who is at the front desk was very rude and aggressive He accused us to chose the hotel. he misinformed us, saying that breakfast finishes at 09:00, which, when I requested to show me the related condition ın agreement, he blamed on Booking and said he can't I restudied our agreement, which has no such condition On the other hand other two persons were very helpful and cooperative

The location is in the historical center of Melk, 10 minutes from the Stift Melk. Parking is next to the hotel. The staff was very nice an and helpfull - they give us tips for the trips and restaurants.

Very friendly and helpful owners and staff showed us the many opportunities around the area including the best way to visit the Abbey. The breakfast was a great selection of quality items and good coffee to start your day off right. Can't think of anything at the moment ?

Great location, good breakfast, and comfortable beds! Trudging myself and my bags up 3 flights of stairs wasn't much fun.

Was not possible makes earlier check in with booking at Booking.com - so plan it in advance! If need checking earlier - contact property directly. Owner is very kinde and will help you gladly.

The location is perfect — right in the center of Melk with a beautiful view of the abbey. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast selection could be a bit more varied, and the Wi-Fi connection was not very stable.

Location and quaint vibe, easy parking, lovely breakfast! You are able to walk up to the Abbey and enjoy the gardens before the tour busses arrive. Nothing

Air condition is not as powerful. Lucky the wether was not too hot so we had a good night sleep.

Everything very small and narrow. No elevators. I had booked private parking but due to a fair in the town I couldnt reach it as roads were closed. Property should have informed me and suggested alternative parking. Not even an apology! Reception often nobody there. Closes at 7pm already. Breakfast only until 9am which is too early. Beds are too small. Shower cabin is like a coffin. You cant move. Horrible! Hairdryer has no power. Sink has no plug. In short, not the best experience but perhaps for that price that is what you can expect in Europe.
