First class breakfast Austrian style. Superb dining option in Melk. Food and staff were wonderful. Away but at a walkable distance to the Melk Abbey and Old Town. Excellent place for cyclists. More secure space for storing bicycles would be nice but OK as-is.

Easy to find and not too far from the abbey and old city in Melk, but easier to drive than the 20 minute walk. The slotted bed frame creaked at the slightest movement so I had to put my mattress on the floor rather than constantly wake my wife. Carpeting in the room seemed old, and large old-fashioned keys were hard to use without making noise. Also proximity to busy street was not ideal for sleep with windows open, and the hair dryer did not work.

Clean No aircon in the room or a fan. It was absolutely hot.

A lovely, welcoming spot. Fantastic location, peaceful atmosphere, and great facilities. Our dog was made to feel right at home, and we all slept soundly in the very comfortable beds. A very good breakfast was the perfect start the day. Highly recommended! All good!

We were just looking for a place to stay between salzburg and Vienna. This hotel has easy access from the highway, parking and breakfast (that we needed). The room are nice and clean and the breakfast was good

Nice facility. It seemed to be what I would expect of an Austrian hotel. A ways from the downtown and the Monastery, 1 mile walk. No A/C. Breakfast was extra at $23.
