Windsor hotel is well located by river walk so easy to get to centro and all attractions in Merano. Breakfast and pool were exceptional. Staff very friendly and helpful. Look forward to next visit.

Breakfast excellent (if not vast in variety) While the buffet wasn’t huge, everything served was locally sourced and impeccably fresh—from rolls, pastries and fruits to high‑quality espresso. Consistent with third‑party ratings that list “Exceptional Breakfast” among the top amenities. Ideal riverside location for sightseeing on foot Located just a few minutes’ walk from the pedestrian promenade, thermal baths, historic centre, and train station—everything Merano offers is within easy distance. There were intermittent no hot water periods during the day—only brief, but inconvenient. This did not appear in any guest reviews I checked; likely due to maintenance or system upgrades. The bathroom’s towel‑heater was disconnected at that time. Staff explained it operates only during winter months, probably as part of the hotel’s independent heating system (not fully active in early spring)

Good bed, good shower, good breakfast, good care for the car in the paid underground garage.

A great room: heated well, spacious, squeaky clean, very comfortable. A functional and convenient kitchen space and a coffee machine present. The only thing us personally could wish for is a kettle in the room.

The location was very convenient for travelling to Merano by train and being able to walk to town along the river promenade. The hotel is immaculate and the staff are very welcoming and provide excellent service. The breakfast was very good and used lots of local produce.

Location is great, premises are well maintained, super clean, Night Manager Daniel is super helpful and proactively will help clients organize their stay. Do not hesitate to ask him, he will help you with a smile at all times. No coffee machine in the room.

Staff was super friendly especially our contact at the booking and reception. He also reserved a great restaurant for us.

We have stayed at this hotel several times , the staff are friendly and welcoming and speak English. There is a bar but no restaurant breakfast is good and ample. Parking (payable) is available on site it is limited so it is best to book a place in advance. The hotel is a short walk along the riverbank from the town and numerous bars and restaurants.
