The staff is very helpful and friendly. This is true of everyone I encountered. The staff at the bar are especially friendly and accomodating. The rooms are comfortable and clean. For the price this is one of the best values in Mexico City. I have stayed here many times and will do so again in the future. I really do not have a negative to say.

Clean, quiet rooms. Located in the heart of the historic heart of the town.

The location The bed wasn’t a true king and the way was positioned was sideways so my feet hung off the edge.
-
There is no laundry which was a little inconvenient since we stayed so long. There was a laundromat within walking distance.
-
Service No service room after 10pm

Shoutout to the bartenders Christian and Issac for being attentive and helping me navigate the city.

The trouble started as we boarded our flight to Mexico City. I had booked my stay with Hotel Marbella a month before. As the plane started to depart, I got an email saying my booking was cancelled. No reason was given. I had a friend call them as we were already in the air, and the hotel said the cancellation was a mistake because of a system migration. What a nightmare that caused us stress at the beginning of our vacation. When we got to the hotel, no explanation or apology was given. They gave us a room that's the smallest of their double rooms near the staircase, I could hardly fit in the bathroom it was so small. The staff changed my room the next day, but we had to wait until 2pm to get another room. During my stay, my data was also hacked from their database as I received spam messages on Whatsapp asking me to "confirm" my stay at Hotel Marbella requesting credit card info. When I asked the front desk, they said the messages were not from them and other people had also been complaining about these spam messages. So not only was my data and details about my stay leaked, I was given no apology by hotel staff or any conciliatory upgrades, and instead was given smaller than usual rooms and had to request the regular rooms. I'm really disappointed in the hotel. Avoided staying in an AirBnB to support local economy but will not stay at Hotel Marbella in the future.

Clean, reasonable price The internet went out several times

Cleaning, location was great, bed was really comfortable, The room could have better blackout, as there was an internal light that was not entirely blocked

The location is excellent! You can easy walk to restaurants, is also a very quiet area, I read about noise from the street but our room was facing the street and no noise. The shower was very, very tight.

✅??️???The comfort of the rooms, the variety and quality of the breakfast, and the attentiveness of the staff were all very good and satisfying. The location was also quite pleasant, away from the chaos, and definitely preferable. Overall, the hotel felt modern and comfortable. There were plenty of power outlets, including USB ports, and they were conveniently located close to the bed. The shower was also very good, and I did not experience any issues with it. ❌?? As for the negative aspects; unfortunately, although the hotel responds positively to the requests you mention while booking, they may not actually accommodate them upon arrival, which was frustrating. For example, I mentioned that I would be arriving jet-lagged and requested a quieter room (such as one at the end of the corridor or not facing the street), yet I was given the room closest to both the elevator and the stairs, with the highest foot traffic. ❌ ??Additionally, the elevator made a ringing sound every time it stopped on a floor, and from the room you could constantly hear it no matter which floor it arrived at. The room lighting was also insufficient — even with all the lights turned on, the room still never felt properly bright. ❌??Another issue occurred around 4:00 PM. The room cleaning had already been completed, but someone entered the room just to place soap inside. Even though the room door was locked, they still came in. They said they had knocked, but due to the general corridor noise and because I wasn’t expecting anyone to knock at that hour, I could not distinguish it. This was a very uncomfortable experience.

Very nice place. Excellent quality to price ratio. Super comfortable bed, good wifi, helpful staff. On a side note, this hotel survived the two biggest earthquakes in Mexico's history meaning the construction is solid.

The only thing I had an issue with was the wifi. Other than that it was a great stay. I highly recommend this hotel.
