Corinto is a good value. It’s a local’s blue collar hotel. Very practical, safe, respectful experience. The service is very good. The restaurant is like a prairie cafe. No frills just good meals at reasonable prices. It’s had basic renovations and could use many more. But it works. No AC in rooms but we didn’t need it. Our problem was that the pool was so cold. Crazy cold. And we’re Canadians. The pool area is great but the top floor area is ripe for so many upgrades rather than abandonment. The room and bed are small. Not a queen for sure. It’s nice to have a window that opened with effort but you saw another room. At least you got sunlight.

The location Is very old , dated and very rude staff.

I loved this stay. For the price it was exceptional.

The place is old but very very clean. There's dust because of the age and structure of the building, and things are well used, but otherwise it was spotless. I was a professional cleaner, I can say this for sure. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. Our flight was changed and we came in very late but they were kind and accommodating. The pool was closed (it was January) but the attached restaurant was fine, nothing exceptional but edible. The location was great for walking to attractions and it was very close to 2 metro lines that were very convenient. There is a taxi stand directly in front too. We were basically looking for a bed and shower to use when we weren't out. The room was perfect for that. The other guests we encountered were mostly families, all Spanish speakers from various places and other parts of Mexico. My pathetic Spanish skills were enough to communicate effectively with the staff. I cannot stress enough how sweet the staff was. It wasn't a problem for us and it was clear from the booking, but the room was very very small. It was not the kind of room you'd lounge around in, it's for sleeping and storage and not much else. We got a standard full size bed room. Others may be different. The mattress was very firm and springy. I liked this and slept like a baby, as did my partner, but if you need a soft mattress you may be disappointed. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner, all that is provided is a bar soap. This is definitely (at least what we booked) a bargain hotel. Absolutely no frills, very worn, but in that area as a "home base" while you sight see, it can't be beat for the price.

The hotel is a little bit old

not much. Maybe just the location. WIFI never work. Located in a busy street. Hotel is so cheap, the sound control lighting system make the hallway feel like a haunted house. Doesn't have proper facility as well. I tried to borrow a knife for fruit and they gave me a long vegie knife from the kitchen. How can a hotel with restaurant doesn't have a small knife for fruit. Either the stuff is stupid or he doesn't want to help

The location was great. You can walk about 20 mins and find yourself in Bellas Artes. The amenities are old and outdated. The best are very uncomfortable and the space is quite dusty
-
The room smelled bad, the shower looked dirty.
-
Near downtown It could be a little more clean.
-
The bed is VERY uncomfortable. Hard as a rock
-
as always location TV was not working property, I have been staying at the Corinto since the 70"s and I believe the bed covers, curtains and carpet is the same, looks that some maintenance is necessary.
