The hotel is very nice and modern. They had multiple televisions throughout the building showing the World Cup games. It was a lot of fun. We felt very safe walking during the day, but it was a little rowdy at night and there were some scary streets after dark. Great location to see some of the sights by foot, and also to catch the hop on hop off buses. The wifi was very weak, so we couldn't stream shows. There wasn't much to watch on the hotel tv (in English). I couldn't even download a book from the library. The informal restaurant charged quite a lot for coffee, and it was old. Yes, we were there after 8:00pm, but I still expect fresh coffee. The waiter was not very pleasant and he never came to check on us. My husband liked his hot chocolate. FYI: Unfortunately the Hop on Hop off bus was not really effective because the traffic is so bad in Mexico City that you can't get off and see more than one or two attractions. (Not the hotel's fault, just extra information.)
