Hotel Berna

Air conditioning stop coolong during the night. The air conditioning start smelling like sewer in one point of the night around 10pm. The bathroom smell fine, the smell came from the air conditioning.

I highly recommend this property! Very kind and efficient service. Bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed. The location was SUPERB!! We walked to the station despite having two luggage each! It was doable and safe! Nothing

Very close to the station but still quiet. The staff were very friendly, I arrived early and was able to check in anyway. The non-alcoholic drinks in the mini fridge were free of charge. The room was clean and had everything I needed.

Good location for us with walking distance to the train station and the metro to get to all the important places in a few stops. The shower had good water pressure and was very clean but the stall itself was too small for my liking. I have no other complaints.

A very nice 4 star hotel, located next to the central location, very convenient and makes it easy to travel in the city and outside the city. Nice and clean rooms and bathrooms, the a/c worked great, and the complimentary mini bar is a lovely addition. The staff were very very nice, lovely and welcoming and helped us with everything we needed. The hotel seems to be a bit old and it's quite noticeable, but it didn't affect our stay in any way.

It’s great location, a few mins walk distance from the Milan central station, metro. The TV is not working in our room.

Location, decent size room with good AC, and all the staff(different) consistently shows genuine hospitality and willingness to help with question or assistance. In our case, we have to leave our backpacks since our room is not ready and they leave messages for the next shift until we got our luggages late at night(airline lost our luggage). none

Close to restaurants We had to check in and walk across the street to a different location for our rooms. For cocktails or breakfast we had to go back to main hotel for those services. This was not disclosed when we booked months in advance. The price did not correspond to the quality of the hotel especially in a city like Milan.

The only redeeming factor about the experience was the staff and the breakfast- both were fabulous. I arrived after a long travel day and was looking forward to a hot shower. Sadly the hotel had plumbing issues and no water was available in the sink or shower. When it finally returned, there was only cold water. The reception desk was sympathetic, but I fault the management for not offering some type of compensation for the inconvenience. At a 4 star hotel, I expected a more luxurious experience. The price of the lodging far exceeded the amenities. As an aside, the ride to the airport was 140euros- next time I will stay at the Sheraton at the Malpensa airport.
