Hotel Mentana - by R Collection Hotels

We enjoyed the very quiet location. It felt like there was no one around most of the time. Breakfast was not included and seemed like it should be for cost.

It was in a weird location. No where to sit outside the hotel or inside

Really centrally located. Excellent friendly, helpful staff. Room was excellent we had the suite with the terrace and it was excellent. It’s a small boutique hotel but right in the heart of the city. You can walk everywhere, there are metro stations nearby but we just walked. Breakfast was great and really set you up for the day. There is only a very small bar but don’t worry you have bars/ restaurants etc just outside and around the corner. We will book again for next year.

The room was very small i hardly move

The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and professional throughout our stay. The location was excellent and convenient, and all facilities were of a very high standard. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel. There was nothing ı did not like. Everything was excellent and met all of my expectations.

The size of the room, it is too small

Location was perfect for me, 12min walk to the Dome. Room is very clean and tidy. Room was very small but already mentioned when booking, it was super noisy at night, you can hear the people talking from the other room.

The AC was broke making for a muggy spring evening.

The location was super walkable, I was able to walk to pretty much all destinations fairly easily and it’s just a quick 10 minute beautiful walk to some of the main streets and sites It’s pretty dated the blow dryer they provide in the room barely worked, it would overheat every 30 seconds so trying to use it was impossible which doesn’t help because it’s hard to travel with an American blow dryer overseas. The bed was really stiff and the pillows were super flat. Made it pretty hard to get a good nights sleep.

Parking

It was clean, close to the center Walls are too thin, you can literally hear everything and the room is so tiny

Spacious room and very nice bathroom. Bed was a little too soft, but that is a personal preference. Location was close enough to the Duomo, about a 10-minute walk. Staff was great and very helpful.

Nice hotel

Location I have stayed at this hotel for 7 nights which was the worst stay at all, 4 nights of my stay was without air conditioning room temperature was up to 26 degrees and every time i have talked to the hotel they say there is no technician there is nothing we can do about this and apparently this is not there first time they have this issue so be aware before you book.

Staff was all so friendly, beautiful quaint hotel

The room is very small

Room was on top floor, rather small but super modern and comfortable and enough for 2 people with carry on luggage. Good size, modern bathroom, lovely rooftop views from the bathroom window. Absolutely loved the breakfast, location in walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Very grateful for letting us check in an hour early after arriving from California on a long flight. That gave us a chance to take a nap and dive right into Milan on the day of arrival. Not sure if it is a dislike, but despite the great insulated windows and top floor, you can still hear street noise. But that is also a beauty of the location - there is a park right next to the hotel where young people gather in the evening - you can hear the buzz of voices until late. But again - it's only a downside if you are tired, otherwise it's very comforting.

Very comfortable, clean rooms with complimentary tea and coffee and a cake as well. Stayed for one night there. It is close to the attractions, shops, etc, easy to reach from the airport. Good breakfast to start the day Did not find anything negative during my stay

Close to Duomo and shopping areas, great location. Breakfast is perfect, many choices for every one. Room size for 1 person is good. Everything is great. Highly recommended

Centrally located, just 10min away from Duomo in a very quite piazza. Restaurants close by It was all good
