Proximity to Centrale Station and metro links directly into Milan’s city centre Rooms were a great size and value, staff was absolutely wonderful, even helped me get a reservation at a restaurant I wanted to try Neighbourhood could feel a little uneasy at night but that comes with the territory Mini bad charge just for opening and not consuming shower drain was slow and sink drain was slow

The location was excellent and very convenient. The hotel was clean and the room was comfortable. The staff were not very helpful. Whenever we requested something, we were asked to come to the reception and collect it ourselves instead of having it delivered to the room. For example, when we requested bottled water, we were told to pick it up from the front desk. There seemed to be very limited guest service, which was disappointing and affected our overall experience.

Location and breakfast. Lack of basic supplies, such as shampoo/body gel (very small bottle) and disposable cups.

Room have a good air conditioning and clean, staff are always smiling and willing to help Hotel right in front of milan central station, tram, buses and metro.. steps away Bathroom has a bidet very important for ppl visiting from middle east They provided extra pillows As four stars hotel the room didn’t have cattle, mugs, coffee or tea and slippers,, had to request them and they fulfilled my request but usually these are basics for 4 stars hotel No complimentary water on first night just like most of the hotels i visited in milan do One of the days they didn’t vacuum the room well, cleaning need to be given more attention First day when i check in i reported the phone to reception was not working and always getting internal error, whenever i needed anything i had to go to the reception in person, they didnt bother to send someone to have a look

But the bathroom was smelling like sewer. We requested staff to change our room but they didn’t agree to it While they acknowledged the issue, they sent someone to just spray room freshener instead.

I’ve stayed here a few times. This time, I was especially impressed with the service—of Jade and Alessio, in particular. I wrote in advance and they accommodated my request. I’ve stayed at other hotels in the neighborhood, but, at this point, I think Smart offers better value. The breakfast is good (though I think they should cut back on the sugary stuff and offer more healthful food—oats without added sugar+ nuts, seeds, etc.). The rooms I’ve had are big and new-ish and clean; the beds are comfortable; the bathrooms are also big; the TVs are new and offer an array of international news and radio. In sum, if you want a more affordable option that is convenient to Milano Centrale, that offers you above-average essentials and excellent service, this is a good hotel. (I’ve stayed in at least 3 other hotels in the neighborhood multiple times over the last 10 years. E.g., Glam’s rooms are roughly the same size but higher priced). It’s not a place you go for special ambiance. It’s functional. I’ve noticed, for example, numerous business travelers. I’ve consistently had a quiet night’s sleep at this hotel, but it’s always been contingent on the neighbors’ consideration. That, of course, is true anywhere. However, the doors don’t offer good noise insulation, so be mindful going in and out—not to talk loudly or slam the door.
