The hotel is in a good location. There is a metro that you can get to the Duomo a few minutes walk away. Also can access the metro to the QC spa which is nearby. Clean hotel and very comfortable The staff aren’t friendly. On check in we arrived and the male receptionist said about 5 words to us. Firstly, he just said ‘passport’. Then typed on the computer for a few minutes, he then handed us a key and went ‘lift level 6’. We then had to ask about breakfast as no information was given. No smile, no welcome, nothing. Then I went down to get the wifi password from the same man. He put his hand out to signal me to give him my phone, put the password in and said nothing. Very clear that he didn’t have any customer service skills. The lady on check out was nicer.

The room was comfortable, the breakfast was lovely and we enjoyed the gym. The bar was nice also and there was a nice area for working in the lobby. Good air conditioning throughout the hotel and the bar/pool table was nice. Good location, close to the park and easy to get into the city centre. I would not recommend the upgrade to a 'VIP room'. We paid 140 euro extra, which was useful as we got to check in early, but we were told that as part of the upgrade, we would get free water. We barely got any water in our room, sometimes not even a 500ml bottle a day between 2 of us. There was a little snack area on our floor in front of the lift,which we were told would have still water, which it did not. We asked time and time again for still water and were not provided with it. We were also told that we would have a separate breakfast room for a quieter breakfast, but on one of the days this room wasn't even open and on another I heard one of the staff telling a family from another floor that they could eat in that room also, even though it was meant to only be for the rooms who had paid for the VIP floor. I would definitely not pay for an upgrade at this hotel again. VIP rooms are definitely not as big as they look in the pictures, at least ours was not anyway.
