Minneapolis Marriott City Center

The hotel was very nice - centrally located in a good neighborhood. Friday and Saturday nights were very noisy; quiet the rest of the week.

The rooms were clean. Staff was courteous and helpful. Great location. Close to monorail.

Good facilities in an iffy neighborhood!

I received an email the day before we arrived, it said that the hotel would take a deposit of (I'm not allowed to say a specific cost on this site) a fair amount for any damages, the amount that was taken was seven times the amount that was quoted in the email, money I needed for my holiday, I won't be back.

Location was near everything I wanted. Baseball field. Orchestra. Great restaurants.

The staff, location fantastic. George the porter was our guiding light. Everyone in town as well as us tourists loved his passion for helping everyone. and the security boys in black suits were great. The car park attendants were fun and professional. The cleaing staff were so helpful. Very clean rooms. They need a parish. Only 1 downside. Your showers are way too weak. No pressure at all to wash hair etc . They leaked all over the bathroom floor.

Great stay! Clean rooms friendly helpful staff. Walking distance to many great restaurants, shopping and target field!

Found the bar excessively expensive

Only complaint was that the “blackout” panels do not reach to the full lengths of the windows, so there were gaps on each ends that allowed a large amount of light in.

Nice place good location

We used the skywalk system to get to the concert because the weather was cold and rainy. This service is wonderful and works great. However, hotels need to upgrade the mapping of the skywalks to make it more user friendly and helpful for their customers.

Rooms were very spacious. Great for all the volleyball gear we had. It was close to the convention center to play volleyball and we had access to the skyway 2 out of 3 days to walk over safely. So was able to stay off the streets. Parking was reasonable ( not hiked up due to tournament weekend) Staff in the bar area was very rude about our group using chairs from a near by area ( that was not being used!) and our group WAS getting food and drinks from the bar, so we should have been able to get enough chairs for our group to sit. ( and to make it worse, another group, not utilizing the bar, was able to get chairs and a table from the same area we tried to, and nothing was said to them)

Close to the target center ,we were snowed in from the 3/14/2026 blizzard , front desk very accommodating to adding another night to our stay .
