Sheraton Minneapolis West Hotel

Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The front desk staff were very friendly. We enjoyed the pool and breakfast buffet did not disappoint! Great experience all around.

Bartender in the restaurant was excellent. Breakfast is next level.

Place was very quiet, Beds were comfortable, Room was next to the pool, but no noise from the pool after 10. Breakfast buffet was amazing!

Hotel very nice! We would stay again. That being said, our preference would have been to have different pillows and less heavy "comforter" on the bed.

Second, on our first night, the HVAC unit completely failed. I reported this to the front desk, and while engineering visited, the unit was never fixed. We left the room for the day expecting it to be resolved. Upon returning, not only was the unit still broken, but the hotel's solution was simply to place a small desktop oscillating fan in our room. At no point was an alternative, fully functional room offered to us. Selling a climate-controlled room and replacing it with a desk fan fails to meet basic brand standards for a Sheraton property Finally, basic room maintenance was entirely absent. Our room was never cleaned or serviced once during our stay. I had to manually hunt down a custodian in the hallway this morning just to request fresh towels. Given that the property failed to deliver the core services promised at the time of booking—specifically a functioning room, accurate billing, and basic daily maintenance—I am asking Marriott to issue a full refund for the $494 stay and provide a complimentary night certificate to restore my faith.

The hotel was very easy to get to. The property was very well lit and easy to navigate. There was plenty of parking. When you walk into the hotel, it is very well lit and clean. You could smell how clean it is the hotel staff was extremely helpful and polite. All my request that I have made one booking the hotel was met. The property was very quiet and peaceful. My room was as described and shown in pictures extremely clean, updated and well kept. All amenities in my room were working as they should no complaints at all. They have a restaurant bar in the hotel. They also have morning breakfast for a fee. My only complaint would be that the restaurant does not stay open longer. The restaurant bar hours are very restrictive. They are not open all day. That would be one of the things that I would say that I wished that they would stay open all day with the bar restaurant other than that my stay at this hotel was perfect.

Customer service was disappointing overall, except for Eden, who checked me out. Eden was pleasant, had a smile and easy to talk to. The first two young men who checked me in didn’t even smile. The housekeeping manager, though, was very pleasant — but it took three tries to get an acceptable toilet. On a positive note, I did receive free breakfast during my stay, and it was good. The person who helped with breakfast was courteous and helpful. The rest of the hotel was clean, and the room had a refrigerator. In the lobby a microwave, and ice was also available, which was a nice touch.

The dining room staff (at least at breakfast) is very friendly but the food is not very varied and not that good. The bar service is the worst, you can be sitting and being ignored even if they pass by you or see you sitting. I would not return to this hotel
