The beach, the hotel chairs & umbrellas made for a civilised experience. The retro chic design and boom boxes with cassette tapes add nostalgia and character. The attention to design detail, clean lines and interesting choices of furniture, colours and wall coverings deliver a sophisticated comfort. Not a big fan of the motel layout. Maybe lessen the feel of asphalt directly beyong the room door...

Solid place. Bathroom is very small but in general, I would stay there again. I was there for a work conference and it is very clean and a great location.

Nice property close to the beach and close to a lot of places

Nice interior I was extremely disappointed with my stay. For a hotel charging over $1,000 per night, I expected a much higher level of service and hospitality. On the first night, the air conditioning in my room wasn’t working. A staff member came to my room before bed and told me to turn the thermostat up to 86°F because the system supposedly worked “backwards” and that it would eventually cool the room. Instead, I spent the entire night profusely sweating in an unbearably hot room. When I messaged the hotel in the middle of the night asking for help, no one responded. Instead, someone knocked on my door in the middle of the night without any communication beforehand. As a woman traveling alone, I did not feel comfortable opening the door, and no one ever followed up with a message or explanation. The following morning, someone entered my room and informed me that the cooling system had actually been turned off. This was incredibly frustrating after such an uncomfortable night and completely unacceptable at this price point. There were also bugs in the shower, which was another disappointing surprise. Housekeeping was equally frustrating. At check-in, there was a booklet in the room stating that if we wanted housekeeping service, we simply needed to place a sign outside the door before 5:00 PM. We followed those instructions, but when we returned later that day, our room had not been cleaned. When I asked the front desk, I was told that housekeeping actually had to be requested the night before—something that was never communicated to us. The only response I received was, “Sorry.” Later that evening, we attempted to order dinner, only to be told that dinner also had to be requested the night before and wouldn’t be available until the following day. Again, this policy was never explained at check-in or anywhere in the room. Throughout the stay, there was a clear lack of communication and organization.

Clean, well appointed, great toiletries, snacks in the room, chic design, helpful staff, great location on the harbor side. Near a beach and Bagatelle. They provide a great beach chair and umbrella. Nothing feels cheap here.

Nice clean motor inn style hotel. Staff was very nice. The only complaint I have is they only offer feather pillows. If you can’t use feather pillows you’re out of luck. For the price a different pillow option should be available.
