My husband and I were staying here for our anniversary and we’ve stayed before but this time was not great. There were ants coming in through the back door and crawling all over the toilet. The beds and pillows were hard as rocks and uncomfortable. Also we noticed that people were not picking up after their pets on the property when the staff conveniently has poop bags and waste baskets specifically for them. Would I stay here again yeah it does the job, but would I say it’s the best probably not.

I would never stay here again. The room was dirty, and the housekeeping staff is very rude. Checkout is 1030AM and they burst into the room without knocking on the door at exactly 1030AM and saw my girlfriend naked. Then charged us $50 for a late checkout. Keep in mind this was a Monday morning and the hotel was empty. This was a $600+ night stay. Ridiculous.

Very clean rooms and pet friendly! Good location

Lose the fake flowers (which make the property look cheap) and the throw pillows (which only absorb odors). Overall, the odor in the room woke me throughout the night.

Do not stay in room 11. Not sure about other rooms but The mattress was like sleeping on a dinning room table. We couldn’t sleep the first night. Front desk wasn’t really helpful but they did send cleaning ladies to flip mattress and change out the pillows. Mattress was probably 20 years old. It helped but still very uncomfortable. Front desk wouldn’t offer any comps or deductions. You go on vacation and after a long day you want to get a good night sleep and relax.

This motel is located on the Bayside.. however it was like a diamond in the rough. The rooms were clean, the staff was so nice from the maid to the check-in girl, including the groundskeeper that walks around with a great Dane. We walked to the Bay beach went jet skiing and ate at nearby establishments. It’s a few miles from the ocean Beach and Village.. The prices were phenomenal compared to Oceanside motels. I booked a two bedroom apartment with a full living room and kitchen.. It had two doors, one overlooking the pool and one in the front of the building.. the best part of it all was that it is pet friendly. I was able to take my two wiener dogs.. we also got to take the owner’s dog for a walk down to the beach. Her name is Josie.. I’m definitely coming back next year..

Room was a little outdated but overall clean. Staff were helpful and amenities were nice to have. So glad I was able to book this last minute!

It is great to have a pet-friendly location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice pool! The room was clean. Several restaurants and bars down the street. Beach is also walkable from motel.
