Very central, great host. Alex was so helpful with suggestions of what to do. We really appreciated his interest in us getting the most out of our short stay. Breakfast was amazing. Very French! Croissants were the best we have had. Map was very helpful! I liked the eclectic atmosphere and character of the property. Alex was amazing. He offered to keep our luggage until our train time.

This the most amazing stay we ever had. The room is tastefully designed and full of pieces of art. Even the bathroom is a showpiece. The location is unbelievable: a medieval house in the heart of the beautiful city of Montpellier. Alexandre is such a natural host; he loves to look after you and to give the best tips for exploring the city and restaurants. The breakfast is just perfect. We felt so welcome and so well looked after! This didn't bother us, but some people may not like to walk the stairs to the bathroom.

This is easy the best location to stay in Montpellier. Alexandre was a fantastic host and provided me with a very well needed massage on arrival. And the breakfast in the mornings is a nice french touch. You'll love the experience here, like a second home. Nothing

Alexandre's place was very unique and the location is terrific. The orientation he gave us when we arrived was extremely helpful, and at all times he was available to help answer any questions. Breakfast delivered in a basket every morning is such a smart idea, and the baked goods were superb. We also partook of massages, and Alexandre is very intuitive and his style, though different from our regular massage therapists back home, was both interesting and effective. Highly recommend!!

I like very artsy, quaint places with character of the city. The room was large with high ceilings. I felt like a resident of the city at Chambre d’Autres. It’s a home and not a big hotel so if you like living as the people of the city then you will like this place.

Alex is a remarkable host! The breakfasts he provides are delicious, beautifully presented and generous. This is a unique, one-of-a-kind place, full of quirky charm. Alex is calm, kind and full of useful information about the city, including excellent restaurants and sights. Alex's apartment is in a beautiful building on a quiet street but just a few minutes' walk from many fantastic places to visit. The guest room is very large with We will recommend this place to anyone visiting Montpellier for the location, the comfort and the experience but most of all for Alex. We have never met a kinder host. I booked 1 massage and it was excellent. Alex is professional and gentle and takes his time. Highly recommend it.

Great welcome. Loved the botanicals deco and Alexander had lots of good tips for the area. Excellent breakfast basket too. 5 mins from Luis Blanc tram. Good location with everything walkable. Call Alex if you can’t find it. Place nextdoor seems to have same number.

Very beautyful location in the heart of Montpellier. The bedroom and the bathroom are amazing. The host is very friendly. And on the top the breakfast is delcious. Now we have a home in Montpellier! Sissi & Stefan

Marvellous! We had an absolutely superbe stay. The house is beautifully decorated with unique pieces and feels very homey and welcoming. Our host Alex also runs his massage business from the property. My fiancé had a deep tissue style massage while I had an energy based massage. We were both left very impressed. A beautiful basket of breakfast was left by our door each morning and Alex went out of his way to highlight places to visit in Montpellier, as well as noting the dangerous areas to avoid (very very much appreciated). Massages, cats, comfortable bed, nice bathtub, super host, perfect location. Tick, tick, tick, tick. We will be booking this property next time we visit Montpellier.

The owner is a very kind helpful person. Breakfast was very good. Location was ok. Very clean - cleanliness is the most important for me I have a few marks on my calves from insect bites. They are not mosquito bites because there were no mosquitoes in the room. Too far to the bathroom, which is inconvenient at night - I don't complain about it, because this information was given in the offer. However, it lowers the value for money indicator

We loved the brilliant location - 10 minute walk to the station and right in the old town with lots of good restaurants nearby. We loved the friendliness of the host and his excellent restaurant recommendations - Rosemarie was particularly good and also reasonably priced. Alexander also provided us with a lovely packed breakfast for the last morning, as we needed to catch a train at 7 am. The only downside for us, as we are both light sleepers, was the 5 am collection of bins in the old town... Nothing the host could do about that though!

Nicely decorated room in a very good location. Warm welcoming landlord with a lot of flexibility to make everything easier for you. Beyond providing to the point recommendations for our stay, Alex was always available at any moment we needed him. Strongly recommended
