Hôtel Bon Port

Damp in bathroom, shower broken, only one fan. Lift was on oxygen. Smelly corridors and other guests were also complaining about their room. Apart from location of the hotel and staff rest all was bad. Property needs refurbishment.

L’hôtel est acceptable dans l’ensemble, mais la chambre située tout en bas rend le séjour très décevant. La chambre est vétuste, avec notamment un plafond qui se décolle par endroits. Elle n’est ni ventilée ni climatisée, ce qui oblige à ouvrir la fenêtre pour supporter la chaleur. Malheureusement, la petite ruelle est très bruyante, avec le passage de véhicules et surtout de camions, ce qui rend le sommeil presque impossible. L’isolation phonique entre les chambres est également très mauvaise : on entend les voisins aller aux toilettes, discuter ou simplement faire tomber un objet. C’est dommage, car l’hôtel pourrait convenir pour un court séjour, mais dans ces conditions, la qualité du sommeil est beaucoup trop mauvaise.

Large room, good position. Staff happy to help with minor needs. Has capacity to be a fabulous stay. A few small maintenance issues already messaged to management. No response. Paper cups for tea/coffee, no milk/creamer.

Great location. Bathroom shower curtain was moldy/stained. Bathroom needed paint job. Breakfast for what we paid was spartan in terms of what was offered.

The location is prime! Free parking was a reason we chose it, but upon arrival learned that they were full, so we had to pay for parking, so be prepared. Thankfully, Mr. Baram was very nice and helped us with the process.

Great location The elevator is scary but it does get you to your room ?

It’s very near to the places I wanted to go to; especially the lake. Transportation is also accessible. Maybe there’s a need to put an anti-slip mat in the bathroom and enclose the shower area with a glass wall to avoid water spillage.

This hotel provided everything that I expected at the right price. The room was basic but comfortable. The hotel is located in the central yet quiet part of Montreux. The staff were helpful.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Bon Port. It is conveniently located and minutes away from the lakefront and city center. The train station was a comfortable 10-15 minute walk uphill. My guestroom had the basic furniture but comfortable. The heating was set at the most comfortable temperature. The BREAKFAST BUFFET was fully equipped with a variety of hot and cold items including eggs, sliced ham, cheese, fruit, bread, coffee, tea, orange juice and more. The staff were very accommodating and certainly helped me to plan my day in Montreux and Glacier 3000. If you are looking for comfort and convenient, Hotel Bon Port is ideal. If you are looking for a 5-star hotel, you might want to keep looking. I will definitely return. In the words of Freddie Mercury, "If you want peace of mind, come to Montreux,"

Location and it had last minute availability There wasn’t a secondary lock on the door to the hall like many hotels I’ve stayed in. The beds were very hard.

Good location and value

Easy access to/from train station and to multiple bus stops. Within walking distance from Lake Geneva pathways and all amenities.

Location No parking. Receptionists were abrupt.

The location is great. It was a short walk to the lake and a ten minute walk to the train station. Room was clean. Bed was not very comfortable. It was impossible to take a shower without getting the whole bathroom floor wet. Lots of bars for hanging clothes, but only three hangers. When we asked for more we were given another three. We thought that was funny. Breakfast was overpriced for quality. When my husband arrived at our allotted time, there was only a table for four open. He was yelled at by the manager for sitting there. Most of the staff are very nice, but the manager is not. Lots of great breakfast options nearby, such as Zurcher, so save yourself the cost.
