Hotel Eden Palace Au Lac

Location is excellent! To say basic inside is actually not to say anything, IKEA type furniture, very cheap looking inside of the room, shower is super simple

Loved every bit of it! The view of the lake was incredible, staff were friendly, very nice lobby and breakfast area. Restaurant attached if needed. 10min walk from the train station. Loved that it has air conditioning, although it wasn’t really needed with the nice doors that open wide. The air conditioning unit made odd ticking sounds that kept me up at night. Should have just turned it off and opened the doors but worried about crows coming in for the food. A simple fan would be nice for air circulation.

Location is great. It's by the lake and plenty of restaurants, grocery shops etc very close by. Nice walking area with great views of the lake. Wish there were a coffee machine, that would have made it very convenient for guests. There was a fridge in the room that helped.

The balcony views over Lake Geneva were breathtaking, and the location made it easy to enjoy the lakefront, the Freddie Mercury statue, and the Queen Studio Experience on foot. The staff was phenomenal — welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. The only reason comfort wasn’t a perfect score was the shower setup: the water pressure was so strong and with no door to contain it, the bathroom floor turned into a mini pool.

We had a beautiful view of the lake with a balcony and plenty of room for two people to sit and enjoy the view. It is on the lake and just steps away from the quay. We were there during the European heat wave, the room was wonderfully air conditioned but the common areas were to. We had drinks at the outdoor seating but never had breakfast or dinner there because of the heat.

Beautiful hotel which mixed the old with the new. Our room looked onto Lake Geneva which was stunning. Great having a balcony. Pool was lovely but very cold. Close to bars and restaurants

Fitness room was inadequate, very small and was hot due to the heat from the sauna being located adjacent to the Fitness room.

the only issue we had was that the people staying next to us let their kid cry and scream from midnight past 2 AM and refused to quiet the kid down until my friend yelled at them through the wall to quiet down because we had to get up early in the morning... I guess the walls are really thin so if u end up with a horrible neighbour, good luck...

Lovely and helpful staff. Location to die for. I was in between seasons, so price was interesting, and not all facilities were available (e.g. pool). Room are large and clean and really wonderful. Thx for an incredible time there. all was very good

Amazing location

Lovely Vintage Hotel. Charming and quaint. Bright & open lobby with piano music. Excellent, resourceful staff. Our room had an AC unit which was essential and a place to sit outside (but the days were too hot). Great Views & Location. Breakfast better than most but not great.

Amazing and soothing view, stretching thru the alps and horizon ! Small balcony overlooking the lake in a very comfy and spacious room and perfect mattress. The grand dame hotel has been granted a new look but still keeps its secular charm. Although the bathroom is big enough to ensure comfort and mobility, the bathtub still represents a risk of slipping - mostly for elderly guests! There’s plenty of room for a walk in shower which would be much appreciated!
