Reviews

Room decor was functional rather than modern. No aircon. No coffee machine.
-
Clean, excellent staff and great location. The door to the room had been kicked in / wasn’t super secure
-
Great position and a view of the lake. Easy to get there via lift from the station. The room design - we had a room on the top floor in the attic, which had just one narrow window and no balcony. The bathroom was on the window side of the room instead of (as normal) the corridor side, so the room was a bit dark. If you're booking, ask to NOT be on the top floor!

No air conditioning. The room was very very hot. The shower head was not working so it was impossible to take a shower. Even if we spoke with the reception, nobody came to fix it. A very bad experience.

Great location. Staff were friendly and attentive. Good bar. No air conditioning and it was 90 everyday
-
Great location, beautiful property, easy to access from main areas. No AC, very miserable night sleep with no air even with windows open and 2 fans
-
Close to the station - about a 10 minute walk, and right beside the lake - beautiful scenery and walk along the water! Breakfast option available - basic food, but nice to start off a travel day without searching for a restaurant first. Appreciated the elevator to 4th floor! No air conditioning, and very hot and stuffy on 4th floor. Bathroom had musty smell.

Bedroom was comfortable and bathroom was Okay - it is a small room so didn't expect too much for 1 night stay. Person on desk very helpful when I arrived Breakfast I signed up for was adequate as quite simple but as leaving early next day was OK. Looked better in the picture than in real life

Floors were squeaky but that is the nature of an old building:)
-
Great location across the street from Lake Geneva and near the train station. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable with a wonderful lake view. Tge breakfast was worth money. Will stay there again! It was a short stay and encountered no problems
-
Beautiful property right in front of the lake

The location

Excellent location near lake.
-
Fine hotel, a little dated.
-
Its in a very good location the room had a massive stain on the floor and a sock hanging off the fire alarm. Floorboards were incredibly noisy as were the people in the next room. They woke us up at 6am as their talking sounded like they were in the same room as us. Also the bathroom door didnt fit the frame so couldn't be shut

The location couldn't be better. We loved the balcony overlooking the lake and the flying Santa during the Christmas Market. The room was huge, a wonderful surprise. It is older, but it has a dated charm. Quite cozy. The woman at the front desk is a delight. The hotel has a lift. Although Montreaux is a bit hilly, there are public elevators between the train station and the hotel which makes traveling with luggage easy. The price was quite fair. I don't hesitate recommending this hotel and I would definitely stay here again. The lobby is not very inviting. At first sight I was apprehensive, but the front desk lady and the room made up for it. Other guests were very nice. Nothing sketchy here. Breakfast could be better, but I think this is quite common in the French part of Switzerland. They aren't big on breakfast. The German areas are better for this.
