Hotel Splendid

David and his crew were so welcoming and very care to all customers. Discussed our daily activities, gave us suggestion on where to go, how to go, where to eat… Close to train station, incredible view of lake Geneva. Room is in good size and clean and comfortable.

Central Location, expansive breakfast, comfortable bed, and friendly staff. Looking at the lake every morning and evening. Entrance is blocked by large restaurant table outside. Traffic can be a little noisy if you’re looking for an early evening but dies off.

No AC and no fan so not comfortable for sleeping during heat wave.

Excellent location, close to the main attractions and plenty of restaurants and shops. Only a 5-minute walk from the train station and just a few meters from a bus stop. Good breakfast with a decent variety of options. The room was clean and spacious. Note: Be aware that some lake-view rooms have bathrooms without full walls, which may feel unusual. I stayed in a city-view room, which was more standard, and I have nothing negative to say. The manager, David, is very friendly and welcoming.

Superb breakfast! Spectacular view. Easy walk to the train station. On a major bus route. Bathroom is funky but clean and was fine for me.

We got a very bad room with mold and the carpet had strange liquids in it, the bed had scratches so big you'd think something happened there. I hope they don't give you the floor with the bad rooms because it's horrible. Fortunately after talking with the manager he moved us to a better room where we could have the stay. Don't expect breakfast! Just go outside and eat, it was very very minimal.

We could see flying santa and the christmas markets and the lake from our room loved our stay

Location perfect. The manager, David, is exceptional, not only knowledgeable about Montreaux, but also about the whole of Switzerland, and can recommend interesting places to visit and landmarks.

Wonderful unique building. Very clean and welcoming. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony and lake view which was so lovely! It is located in a perfect spot-close to train station, buses, the Christmas market was right across the street. Great little shops and restaurants beside it.
