Built in 1870 by Eugène Jost, this recently renovated Belle-Époque hotel is located in the heart of Montreux on the shore of Lake Geneva and right across from Montreux Train Station. It offers a restaurant with a lake-view terrace and free WiFi in all areas. All rooms at Grand Hôtel Suisse Majestic, Autograph Collection feature air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a mini-bar, and many of them have a balcony or a terrace. The restaurant 45 Grill & Health offers seasonal, locally inspired cuisine and a wide selection of international and local wines. Location is excellent; Judy right across the street from train station The shower was not installed in a custom services way. I couldn’t keep the water from splashing out to the bathroom floor

What a beautiful hotel. Every one of the staff were helpful and accommodating - the front desk, porter and restaurant staff. The WiFi was incredibly difficult to set up. Even the front desk staff had an issue. This needs attention as travellers use WiFi frequently. This was however a minor issue for us.

Bath room could be improved. Neither drain worked correctly and bath tub was difficult to get in and out of.

The hotel was opulent and the staff were very good. The location was excellent. The room was well below what would be expected of such a hotel. The coffee station in the room was Nescafe sachets with powdered milk IN A PAPER CUP - UNEXCEPTABLE. Tissues were not replenished in the bathroom. The mattress leaned to one side and the room was located on a main road and was very noisy. I would never recommend this hotel.

It’s great location to move in the city Mattress weren’t changed even once it’s not clean. The tree are blocking the view and special request was totally ignored. No one to help you with the bags and no drop-off area for the car.

Location was fantastic and the view over the lake spectacular. The rooms were well appointed and very comfortable, stuff were friendly and very accommodating. I did think that the hotel was quite expensive to not have breakfast included although the facilities and actual hotel were wonderful I think for the price charged breakfast should have been included.

Breakfast was incredible and the view as well! Room was spacious and we had 2 balconies which we loved. Bathroom was also incredibly spacious. We did have an experience with one of the housekeeping where he barged into the room thinking it was empty. He did apologize but that was a bit awkward.
