Holiday Inn Express Mountain View - S Palo Alto by IHG

I had to change our room at the last minute. I believe the counter person was named Jay. He was awesome!!! Without having to go through Expedia, he was able to change the room, at the very last minute. Knowing I would be paying extra, he did an excellent job and was able to keep the rate at an afforable price. Thank you. He was so very helpful and friendly. The rooms, including bathrooms were very clean. The rooms were also quiet. The morning breakfast, had a good variety of choices. The eggs and bacon were very good, as were the biscuits and gravy. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. There is also garage parking.

Great location for easy access to/from airport and local restaurants and parks.

You can hear everything above you, next door to you, and in the halls.

The breakfast was our favourite part of the stay. The staff also makes sure that nothing runs out.

No exercise equipment available even though it was on the site.

Overall, the stay was great quick easy check-in, friendly staff, great breakfast, and it was very clean. Great stay and location were perfect if touring Standford. I did not like the notice with construction. It was loud in the morning, and we had a worker right outside our window Saturday around 3 pm. I would of been fine with a notice they will be on the boom lift, but all I seen was a little poster next to the front desk. I understand properties need remodels but notice before check-in would have been great. The worker was friendly and waved to my youngest, but it was unexpected.

Breakfast was so good and many options to choose from. They are still doing remodeling but everything was clean and out of the way. The room was very big. Parking was ok.

The room was clean, unfortunately the room safe was not working. During my stay there was lots of available free hotel parking. The hotel staff was nice and polite.

Friendly staff, great breakfast, sparkling clean throughout, and plenty of free parking. Would stay again!
