The hotel was fine but the A/C unit was loud & the ice machine was right outside my door, adding to the noise

We stayed at Hotel Aria while in town for a concert. We booked this location because it was close to the Shoreline Amphitheater and decent price. The bathrooms in the rooms were unexpectedly small and the shower either didn’t have hot water at all or I didn’t have the patience to wait another 10 minutes for it to get hot. When we arrived at our room, the internet didn’t work and wasn’t connected on our TV. The wifi password in the room per the instructions didn’t work and the front desk didn’t hel

The beds were comfortable, the staff was friendly, the location is excellent. The rug felt dirty when I walked barefoot on it.
-
This is a no-frills motel that's clean and conveniently located to have some fun (like a concert at Shoreline) or take care of some business

Front desk staff person was an absolute treat. Sincere, kind attention. And the lobby/breakfast area was clean and efficient. Rooms- spotless.

Clean room with basic modern amenities, a work desk, small fridge, and microwave. Wheelchair accessible shower. Toilet seat needs changing. Reception was helpful. Need to download an app paired with Bluetooth as key access to the room. Basic breakfast with cereal, bread/toast with butter and jam, oatmeal, coffee /tea, milk. Suggested to the hotel to add peanut butter for protein. Parking available and free for the first car if you tell the reception. Good location.

Front desk kept calling me to make sure I showed up before 9pm to check in. And at time of check out they kept announcing to leave before 11 they said( are you paying another night). Once 11:05 came around they text me saying I had to be completely out of the room by 11:20 or else they would charge me $35 fee.

Overall good value and staff makes it worth while to stay here. There are restaurants nearby. I do not expect much in terms of breakfast but coffee is important. The coffee machine was not working in the breakfast area. There was however, coffee in the room.

The bed was very comfortable and the shower was nice. The room gets cool and crisp with the AC. I don't like that you have to use a phone app to get into your room especially because I was in town for a concert and my phone battery was almost dead by the time I got back around midnight and could have posed a problem if it had died all the way. The staff is not what I would describe as particularly friendly. They came off as somewhat bossy with the parking and pushy when it came to the time it took to download the key entry app and get that all set up. Next time I'm in town for a concert I'm likely to just stay at the motel 6. $200 is definitely a bit overpriced for this type of hotel experience.

I was charge twice the taxes which is not legal

You are expected to have a cell phone and download some stupid app to be able to stay at this hotel. Your phone connected and discoverable on Bluetooth acts as the room key and there are no other options. I would have gladly stayed elsewhere had I understood this requirement of the hotel.

Plenty of parking. Felt safe
