A very well-run and professionally managed hotel, ideal for a city break. Public transport (tram 19) is just a few steps away. The room was spacious with a good shower. I was there in the middle of a heatwave, so the air conditioning was more than welcome. The breakfast is exceptionally well prepared. Everything about this hotel reflects quality. The wide area around the central station is a major building site. This is, of course, not the hotel’s fault, but it may cause some nuisance.

We had a really pleasant stay here. The location was great, the city center was easily reachable within a 15-20 min walk. The room was surprisingly spacious, especially by European standards and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. Considering the price, it honestly exceeded our expectations. Everything was spotless and very well maintained. We also appreciated having both an automatic coffee machine and tea available in the room. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming as well. Definitely a great value for money option. The only downside for us was the pillows. They were unfortunately quite uncomfortable and seemed very worn out the filling inside had clumped up and shifted around, so the pillows felt uneven and lumpy. By our last day, I ended up with quite a bad neck pain. We also experienced an issue one night where the room suddenly filled with cigarette smoke for reasons we could not understand. We suspect it may have come through the ventilation system. Since I have allergic asthma, this unfortunately affected me quite badly and I ended up having a difficult following day because of it.

Breakfast was really good. Breakfast staff were friendly, and always ready to pour another cappuccino for me. They remembered my name. Front staff were also friendly and helpful. One gentleman printed my train ticket for me. I had stayed there previously and they welcomed me back. It’s also a quick walk to main train station. Nothing really.
