This hotel was a great budget-friendly find for our family and it has a lot of character along with helpful staff. I found the bunk beds to be very comfortable and although the rooms are small, the space can be used very efficiently. It is within walking distance of all you would want to see as a tourist in the old town and also close to a good shopping district and restaurants. The bathrooms are tiny but brand-new and very clean. My husband and I took one room and our teens had the other right next door. The bonus over getting a quad room for the whole family was that we had 2 bathrooms among the 4 of us. It sort of took me back to my college days. The place is fun and the downstairs lounge area is cute with an interesting preserved midcentury mural. Would stay again. Front desk was also fully fluent in English. There is a lift. The breakfast was a bit pricey unless you eat a lot. However, prices are generally high in Munich. Coffee was not strong enough. Rooms could use one foldable suitcase stand and an ice bucket, or maybe have those available at reception. However, none of these things was very important during our stay.

Room was wonderful. We were there during RECORD heat wave. Hotel would have been a 5 star if it had air conditioning.

It's absolutely charming. An ingenious use of the space that's elegant, fun, comfortable - all at once. It's a great location, an excellent value. And the staff - everyone we met - couldn't possibly be nicer, more efficient or more welcoming. I really can't think of anything.

Stayed here at least three times now, would not stay anywhere else. Great facilities, good WiFi, great and helpful staff, fan in the room, comfy bed Nothing :)

It was fun and quirky. Also the staff were extremely friendly, kind and helpful. I’m being picky but there needed to be an extra mirror that wasn’t in the bathroom. And also I didn’t like the ladder for the bunk bed because I stubbed my toe on it but that was my fault not the hotels

The location was perfect and the staff was exceptional! Breakfast was delicious and fresh. *Special shoutout to the staff: I celebrated my birthday on July 20 and the staff left me a treat bag filled with candies and two bottles of water. This made my day and was so unexpected! The mattresses were not very comfortable and the fan could have been better. I wasn’t prepared for the lack of A/C and it took 2-3 nights to adjust. I also would’ve liked a little light for the lower bunk and/or a small table next to the lower bunk for my phone charger.

24/7 service, Friendly staff, convenient location, very good room and excellent breakfast ceiling fan was good , but not satisfactory for hot summer weather.

It was clean and the staff was nice. The decor is cute. The bathroom was very small.

Location was walking distance to many central places, but at the same time was quite. The train theme was interesting.
